It's a sad state of affairs when a completely unrelated game by a developer that uses the hit songs of the 70s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1jD674yFl8) and 80s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5f5tOmMkLk#ws) in their promotional campaigns is closer to a proper 3D Castlevania game than Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Don't forget songs from the beginning of the 19th century (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinkle_Twinkle_Little_Star)!

How is Dante's Inferno? I heard mostly negatives things about it so I've been hesitant to pick it up. =\

Three words. Huge fucking schlong.
Oh, and there's Cleopatra's giant tits as well.
-
Don't forget how the giant tits can give birth to little flying imp babies.
So much Freud in a single boss battle.
-
The people who made that Deadspace Lullaby trailer clearly had Alien: Resurrection in mind.

Dante's Inferno is a great game. The franerate is topnotch and the textures are of awesome quality. The music is bombastic at times and subtle at others and yes, I agree that it feels like a Castlevania title more than LoS does.

Well, guess I'll have to keep an eye out for it and pick it up sometime. ;D

Not to mention the PSP version is level for level the same game as it's PS360 big brothers (so much so that you can use a guide for the PS360 versions and it will still be 95-99% relevant for the PSP version; the only differences seem to be the odd enemy placements), AND it manages that while being one of the damn prettiest PSP games ever made. Holy crap. So much win in such a tiny package!

PS360? Did you hotwire the PS3 and XBOX360 systems together??

I remember laughing so hard when Yahtzee said the Divine Comedy/The Inferno is history's first example of self-insert fanfiction. Because it's so true.

PS360 is a term reserved for games that came out both on X360 and PS3 that are basically exactly the same.
An example: "One thing that Call of Duty: Black Ops2 Wii-U version has that its PS360 versions don't have, is off-TV Gamepad Gameplay"
PS360 would in this case refer specifically to the PS3/X360 versions. And takes less characters to type.
Although maybe you were joking? :P

In Metallica's words...
"Sad but true".
