Title: Question:How to throw Alucard's shields?

I remember in SOTN there was a special move you could do by throwing Alucard's shields that do minimum damage, I did this move back when I played SOTN with my dad. now I forgot the button combo to do the special move in the present day, can you give me the combo code please? or did my dad owned a crack SOTN?

I've never hear of this trick before!  :o   I'm only familiar with the shield rod technique.

I didn't knew that was possible, since I like Captain America, any discovery about that is welcome :P (I never have seen this, even in sprites.)

heh, I've seen Alucard throw his shield before, but not in a game.  at 2:00 in CastleVania: Rhapsody of Ruin

There's only one thing that disappoints me about that video. Why the hell didn't Richter get in a hit from using the vamipirekiller? (That's of course not counting the special spin move or the leap move). It's his primary weapon and should have had a more prominent role.

I don't believe there is a shield throwing move.

You may have confused one of the countless weapons that you CAN throw as the shield. Perhaps the boomerang?

Maybe you're thinking of when Alucard can cause damage with his shield by holding it in front of him and "ramming" enemies?  Like the Medusa Shield or Dark Shield?

Mind you I was 6 when I played SOTN with my father, Just to clear things up I asked my father on phone and he said he owned a cracked SOTN with modded moves and techniques and the shield throwing was a mod. sorry to waste people's time.

do you think you can get a video of this? I'd wanna see a cracked SotN playthrough with Alucard throwing his shield.
