Title: What kind of cameos would you like in cv
Post by: Neobelmont on March 17, 2013, 10:05:18 PM
So I just had a brain fart right now and well I was wondering what kind of konami cameos would you like tou see in cv? heck scratch that. What would you like to see in a cv game that's not cv.

For one I would like to fight a God or gods for that matter but not just any I want to challenge these gods

Yu-Gi-Oh Osiris summoned (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZuEgtj-uwk#)

Winged Dragon of Ra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MilJktWFDC0#)

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Pyramid of Light - Atem summons the Three God Cards (Japanese) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cV7Pgah9bc#ws)

Along with god's anger playing oh man....

God's anger extended [Link in description] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGxYef6pmN0#)

or If a fight with the mummy were to happen again I would want this

Passionate Duelist Extended (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch0ACDFffNk#ws)

This sounds fit for a Pharaoh

That's it for now how bout you guys/girls?

Well LoS has already had a Portal Cameo and a Mario(/Luigi?) one, and I'll admit I found the Mario one pretty amusing. The portal puzzle ("aperture magic" lol) came right outta nowhere. But it didn't bug me. Still amusing.

Konami man, not as a item, but as a Boss or support char. If it have a role in the story (I know that its almost impossible to happen) its a great plus to me. Also a undead Getsu Fuuma is possible. One Golem with a Easter Island's Moai as a head would be cool too.

There's a bonus:
Hyadain - Wai Wai World Medley (animated) with subtitles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LndLWZdMcdI#)

Wai Wai World 2 Bloody Tears (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLKye0o4src#)

More creatures from different movies, cultures and mythologies. I loved this about IGA's games even if their design wasn't always the best.

I think this would apply well to the level design too.

Stuff from other Konami games is always fun.

Getsu-Fuma is tailored to being a Castlevania spin off. Both mythologies mix quite well with each other.

I can imagine that Getsu-Fuma Den would take place several millennia past the Castlevania games (it does take place in the future, right?), sort of like Snatcher does with Metal Gear. If they really wanted a story explanation, they could point to the Japan-centric events in AoS for vague hints.

Thats why I mentioned Getsu Fuuma, because the events from the latest CVs happen there, in Japan. So he can appear as a undead easily. Also Getsu isn't from the future, he is from the 15th century. So it may happens before CV: Adventure, sometime near Dracula's Curse.

Getsu Fuma Den is A.D.14672.

Hellmont Description: Some say this is what happened to Simon Belmont in the end.

my main two monster video game franchises are Castlevania and Darkstalkers.  would love it if there was ever any references to each other some day.

edit:
you know what's strange?  two of my favorite franchises, Star Trek and Castlevania, are becoming oddly intertwined.  Patrick Stewart in LoS of course, and Michael Dorn and Mirana Syrtis worked on a Castlevania fan film.  maybe we need a shout out to Star Trek in the next game?
