I have a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night wall scroll up for auction on eBay:

It is still sealed, and nearly impossible to find these days. You know you want to add it to your collection! 8)

You can find wall scrolls of anything without too much effort. It's not like the bootleggers making these things have gone out of business.
-
Bootleggers have never copied this wall scroll, to my knowledge, which is why it is not able to be found for sale online except from me. ;)

Nice screenprint you have there. I see "genuine" wallscrolls like this all the time at my local Borders bookstore. And if it's so rare, why's it only .01?
Material's cheap, I can tell just by looking at it, and the support frame is the same as any anime/game scroll you can buy at a novelty shop.

Clara, it seems you have a qualm against the masterpiece that is Symphony of the Night. I don't understand why you are comparing this work of art with "wallscrolls like this [at Borders]". In my humble opinion, Ayami Kojima's art style is very unique with her use of India ink and cont

....you spelled epitome wrong.... Still, I might be interested in buying this. Would you mind telling me your reserve price?

You need to learn the eBay tricks of the trade :P Look more closely at the auction, or read the post above mine for your answer.

I feel bad about the misspelling of epitome. I'm usually an A-grade speller, too. Oh well...no one's perfect.
As for the reserve, that's for me to know and for everyone else to find out. The reserve is definitely fair though, considering this is a SotN item, but it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg like some other SotN items. Remember that the total cost includes US shipping too.

Hrmphh... but it's nothing too high, right? Reasonable for any poster, right?
-
Indeed. :D
-
Never thought the most famous Castlevania board in the world would allow threads advertising pirate crap. Oh well, no one's perfect.
-
That is a Castlevania wall scroll; Castlevania's theme has nothing to do with pirates, except for a stage in a few of the games. How does the wall scroll resemble that theme?
-
It's "pirate crap" in the sense that it's pirated. Bootleg. Unlicensed.
-
Yeah, it's bootleg, especially if you say there's a new auction up. Meaning you have more than one, meaning the chances of it being legitimately original are significantly lowered.
-
Clara, would you consider this deal worst or better than the signed video game case?

Didn't see much of that thread, but figured it's bootleg too. Easy for anyone to take a sharpie to a case and call it an official producer signature.
The wallscrolls ain't original. They're prints. Prints can be very easily manufactured. There's an asian novelty store in my town that does this exact same thing.

Well, this store seems to have the same scroll, so I doubt it is rare and real:
