Nice work here .
But you should use a music programm , like FL studio or Fruity Loops , Midi isn't this great when not converted / modified with those programms !  ;)

Nice. They have a retro touch, I don't think they need to be converted to a 'modern' sound.

I remember that tune! I have it saved on my machine and it was a loooong time ago that I first heard it. Also your rendition of Bloody Tears is good too.
