FF15? Wasn't that supposed to be a game that takes place in the far flung future of FF13 originally as in it started life as FFversus13? You know part of "Fabula Nouva Crystalis" aka Square's "let's make a bunch of new games that have fuck all to do with Final Fantasy but call them that any way" campaign?
Never really got into KH, so there being a part 3 is kinda meh. But speaking of which, Disney kinda dropped the ball not porting KH to Wii. With the mostly younger demographic they might have made a killing.

Speaking of 3DS they really need to do something to bring those games to Wii U. I would buy a shit ton of the 3DSware games, but no 3DS.

They need to just do remakes IMO. I'll buy those because it wasn't all about the glam or super-ultra advanced combat system (auto-play the game for me) back then. Although it seems risky, I'm sure it will save them money or whatever. But if it doesn't get pushed back again I'll run with it. As for LoS2 wow. I imagine Gabula summoning a moogle to save his progress lol

Lately Final Fantasy has been pretty far from JRPGs too. Well, except on the portable front. Hell, the latest FF on handheld (Bravely Default: Flying Fairy) isn't even freakin' called Final Fantasy. Hell, the devs had to give it that ridiculous subtitle just to have the FF in there at all.

I'd say more "Kingdom Hearts May Cry Fantasy".
Interestingly enough, if what Nomura's hinted at turns out to be true, the world in Versus..er, XV(damn, I keep doing that) is going to be MASSIVE. They just might be able to recreate that classic FF sense of exploration, applying it a full scale world. Nostalgic part of me loves that most of the monsters they show are completely "classic" ones like Behemoths and Iron Giants(not heavily redesigned, but mainly based on their classic, iconic designs). The 2011 trailer also shows Imps/Garchimaceras appearing(they look like the ones from FFV and FFVIII). While, gameplay-wise, it's a departure, the general feel of the world is really drenched in the "classic Final Fantasy" spirit(Leviathan!!!).

FF Versus 13 always looked pretty sweet, so I guess XV will be the first proper FF in years that I'm actually interested in. The game probably will do well on both PS4 and XBOne. FF-fans will buy it just because of the name, and then there's a big possibility that fans of GoW or DMC could find things to like about it. Unless the game turns out to be crap, of course. Bad reviews have destroyed sales before.
