Yesterday, something wrong happened with my ps3 and in an attempt to fix the problem, i screwed my accounts and left only with the option to format. I tried to back up my saves, but 4 games didn't allowed me to do that. They were Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, LoTR War in The North and another one, can't remember it's name. I can live with losing Demon's souls save, LoTR will be fun to play again, since i have screwed my save, but Dark souls..............i just can't go back and play it again, after so many hours that i have put. Also i have to re-download all games that i have bought from psn......... :'(
So, all i want to ask ya, is there any way to import the save file of someone else's for Dark Souls?

AFAIK, nope. They intentionally did that I believe, to deter cheating with saves or something like that.

If that's true, then i''l let it rest in peace. I don't have the courage to pick it up again from the start.

As long as you didn't have a reaction like this guy

I was close enough............i did kick it once............but it survived somehow. Also i found some dark souls saves, but i haven't tested them yet.

He looks like some kind of giant Pac-Man snuggie creature.

He should've saved that rage for the XBOX 180, lol!

Case solved!! I found a save that it also allowed me to lv up almost all of my stats to 99 from the start and have all of the best equipment. Yes i know that's a broken save, but i didn't feel like starting the game from scratch, since it is hard as hell, having to spend all those hours again and do all that farming that i have done again.

Wow, I'm glad for you that you got the save issue figured out. I didn't think there was a way to share saves on PS3s, since the information on the hard drive is encoded to that machine. I recently lost all the data on my PS3, included my 60+ hour save file for Harmony of Despair and about 20 other games I had finished. I've started again from scratch on HoDespair, and after about 40 hours, I still don't have my Valmanway+1. Had I put all these hours into my original save file, all my characters would be awesomely leveled up. :(

So i'm not the only one who suffered a save data loss........but yours sounds so much more serious......about the save, it's a hacked save, made by a team who makes that kind of saves for many games and for all consoles, found it by accident on youtube. :P I have hooked the ps3 hdd on my pc, but i couldn't see anything, since it is encrypted.
