Thanks for the info, but i doubt i'll buy.

It'd be cool if they included it with the game. I already have the soundtrack, but I wonder if there are extra songs on this one.
-
Now you can listen to all the music that 'wasn't' in the game when it should have been.

They seriously did something that stupid?

Is it me or is the tracklist the very same one than from the original edition??? ???

I have to lol at all the talk about the soundtrack. But what really makes me lol is that while playing the demo of LoS Ultimate Edition I WAS HUMMING THE MAIN THEME FROM STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS!! There's something seriously wrong here. o_O

Insert a Simon Cowell quote towards the soundtrack: "I think you may have just blown a massive opportunity by being forgettable."

Yeah... The did. My only question to them is: Why make all that music if only a fraction of it was ever featured?
-
They think that money grow in trees... like in The Sims.

Um, YEAH there's something wrong! You're watching Star Trek! O_o
I'm kidding. Kinda.

It may have already been composed and they decided some pieces didn't fit with the game. A lot of times artists will record a lot more songs than are put on an album and they choose the album tracks from all those.

Honestly, Lords of Shadow has GREAT music. It just doesn't fit CASTLEVANIA.
I use it for a lot of other things though, like writing my novel, playing Skyrim and other epic fantasy games, etc.
I like the music just fine.
I just don't like it in the game it happens to be for.
-
I totally agree here. LoS' music is great, but it's not like previous CV music. However, it still fits a bit to the cinematic universe of LoS.

Yeah, this pretty much sums up my thoughts too. I don't think LoS would be the same if it had Lament's style of music or CV64's. Much like Harmony of Dissonance, the music just fits the game so well. My disappointment with the music was because I had hoped for something akin to SCIV's style of music, but that was a case of my own expectations vs reality.

According to Coxee, "It has two additional tracks and the digital release will have more..."
As for the MoF soundtrack, "we want to make ALL the music available at some point."
Thus we will hear more music tracks that are not found in game, bravo.

Maybe Cox & Co should have taken their advice from Mike Holmes: "If you're going to make something, do it right the First time."
