I love Curse of Drakness but there is one thing I dont dont understand. What makes Hector think that he actually sees Rosaly when he spots Julia ? I mean he sees the a :o womans back , does that mean that it has to be Rosaly ? he cant see the face at first right ? Or did I miss something....

Hi, welcome to the Forums!
Maybe she resembles her from the backside... it's one of the solutions I can think of... it's a bit odd though, so yeah...

He's delusional.

Igarashi's just messing with you.
HECTOR: "You look identical to my dead wife!"
PLAYER: "Surely this is foreshadowing for a plot point to be revealed later in the game!"
IGA: "Nah, lol."
-
Iga's a master at introducing would be plot twists then ruining or forgetting about them. That's one example. Other would be pork's 1999 battle mentioning, mentioned once, then ignored and forgotten as if nobody ever heard that.

From what I recall, Julia looks ALOT like Rosaly. They can be identical twins. At least she does in the official Ayami Kojima manga.
-
It was foreshadowing a romance between the two. The resemblance Julia has to Hector's wife seems to fill the Devil Forgemaster with uncertain emotions.
The game didn't make much of it as it progessed until Hector begins living with Julia. I think we can read between the lines and figure out what that implies.

Hahaha that's spot on.

I too thought it was some plot twist, much like how in DMC, Trish looks like Dante's mom for a reason. A bit creepy though since I think one of the reasons why Dante is romantically interested in Trish. If I was Dante, I would bang Lady over Trish since the former doesn't look like mom.

Don't go forgetting about Lucia...
Oh, and about the actual topic, Maybe Hector saw a lot of his wife's ass so... that's how he recogized Julia to look like his wife... or maybe, a necromancer brought Hectors wife back from the dead, and she called herself Julia, just to scare ector in the long-run. And that is dead on about IGAs plot-twists without the twist. Maybe someday we'll see a game in which all of IGA's "plot-twists" come back to haunt us!! :o

Dude, I love The Lady from DMC3. She had that cute innocent look, yet still hot, but if you messed with her, she'd just kill you with her Rocket Launcher.

Lady's smokin in DMC4! She definately "grew" up a bit after DMC3.

I think a lot of guys want to marry women like their mothers. I wouldn't, but some guys would.

I doubt it, that's nausiating... not to say I hate my mother but...

I think it's true. Certain psychological traits in their mothers are what they look for in girlfriends, or wives. Same can be said about women, who sometimes seek out men that are like their dads. That's why a lot of young women, who had fathers that abused their mothers, usually find themselves in abusive relationships too.

~ You look... but you did'nt "see". Since Hector lost her darling Rosaly he is powerless to protect even his love ones. He's always ready to see her but forge he cannot.
Anyway Isaac is quite sassy to forge for himself a fresh fight.

^ I think that's essentially what it is. Hector sees someone that resembles his wife from the back, (and, coincidentally, from the front, too) and then starts getting all emotional, and irrationally thinks that maybe, maaaaybe somehow it is her, because that is what he would want.
