I dunno if it's between takes, but I Affleck looks way too clean cut for me here. I was hoping that he would look much more beaten down and scruffy in his portrait as bats. I think the Dark Knight Rises animated movie nailed it perfectly.

No Bat-nipples? No watch.

No Bat-nipples? No watch.
I have no idea what it was with those damned bat nipples that were so prevalent in the 3d and 4th movies. They served no purpose what-so-ever. Next thing you know someone out there will try and make an atomically correct bat suit cause they think it's the way to go :P That will just cross the line.
Next! Watch Batman glide through the air with his shlong flapping in the wind :-X
-
Sure this isn't shooped? His head looks way too bright for the rest of the photo, and a little out of proportion with his body.
-
^Seconded. This looks so shooped it may very well be wooped as well.

Fcuk yea pheer Afleck's ubershlong! ;D

Now if only Matt Damon was cast as Robin, it would be perfect.
Applesauce, bitch!
-
ROFL, my wife confused Ben Affleck with Ben Stiller! Now, that would be a Batman to watch!
-
Yeah that's photoshopped. That's Nolan's batsuit. The new one looks nothing like that.
-
Shooped indeed.

I don't know why Batman would be walking around in public without his mask on, anyway.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Oh wait... it really is a bird.

From Kevin Smith's recent gushing about a picture he saw of Affleck in the new suite, I'd guess it's going to break from the black on black body armor look that's been most of what we've seen in the movies since Keaton. My money would be on some greys and/or dark blues with less of a bulky armor look. (Or at least a different bulky armor look.) Probably The Dark Knight Returns inspired considering Affleck's in his 40s and Batman in the movie is supposed to be a grizzled veteran vigilante by the time we meet him. Maybe even something along the lines of this.

Don't feel bad, everyone gets taken in by a shooped image sooner or later. You'll be more careful next time. ...Ahh that old expression "Pictures don't lie" is so quaint these days isn't it?

I've always thought the Batsuit in Arkham Asylum would make for a nice post-Nolan costume.

I think so too. It's simplistic in design with not a whole heap of detail, but it does the job as a typical bat suit should.

Yep, EPIC Fail...

Nevermind Batman. It's official.
Gal Gadot is cast as Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot? Gal Gadot???
This girl ------>

What the heck, Zack Snyder. Gadot hasn't got HALF the curves required to be WW.
-
Forget curves, she doesn't have 1/3rd of the muscle needed to look anything but ridiculous doing any kind of superheroic lifting, she looks like a strong breeze could do her serious harm. I don't care what kind of magic girdle they put on her it's just going to strain the suspension of disbelief. Between this, gray brown emo Superman and Batflleck, it's getting to the point where I'll be more surprised if this movie doesn't suck than if it does.
Also it's been announced that Universal is remaking "The Mummy" again (the 1998 remake was 15 years ago, if you don't already feel old enough) and you can expect that in 2016, ho ho when will people stop giving the studios money for this crap.

the "she doesn't have the body type" argument is moot, sorry ;)
-
Oh my! The casting directors must have been blind! :o
Oh well, this movie is gonna be CGI everything. sigh...

Damn. When will they ever stop? I've watched the original (1932) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0023245/) in black and white recently.
-
I'm not worried about Wonder Woman. I find her vey uninteresting as a character to begin with, so I don't care how they change her as long as it works for the film.
I thought man of steel was pretty lame anyways. I don't think it's possible for superman to be cool to me.
I'm more worried about batman being in a superman movie than I am about any of the casting choices. Those 2 work well in comic books together, but I prefer Nolan's idea of keeping batman in a realistic world. Superman spoils that by default.
-
Dc movie casting has been awful these past few years. (Obviously excluding Batman for legendary performances). I cringe at the thought of Ben Affleck as the new batty and I'm sorry but this Lady they cast as Wonder Woman is absolutely not how I envisioned the Amazonian princess. Seriously there were several better candidates the could have used look-wise. Let's hope this girl can act the part of Diana.
-
I have to agree 100% with son_the_vampire. Wonder Woman is a warrior princess so she would not be skinny and slender. Wonder Woman has muscle; a fair amount of it too, a larger built body frame and a slightly larger bust as well. The movie casters need to do their research better.

And this made me think of the actress from Xena series, for some strange reason... :P
-
Lucy Lawless, a bit too old for Wonder Woman unfortunately. (Though of course I'd said the same thing about Affleck.) She seems less crazy than Kevin Sorbo these days at least.

Less crazy? How do you mean? xP

She wasn't in "Meet the Spartans" for starters lol.

That movie was an unnecessary sellout. xD lol
Besides, i don't think Lucy's quite an actress who enjoys spending her time with funny parodies.. :P Although 'Xena' Itself just had it's funny moments, but who am i to judge.. >_> (I actually loved that show from far. :x lol)
Btw, who might give it a better Wonder Woman, in your opinion?

She's got the black hair, blue eyes and is built Ford-tough.

I've never really gotten into Xena much though I was (and still am) a big fan of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

I saw this, man. It was quite the same! x)
Same camera direction, same actors(considering the episodes in which they all featured in the same place), same kind of scenario, same style of fight, costumes, same everything. xP

.... It's like they put all of their efforts into turning the movie into a huge joke.

...Wat.
I don't exactly remember all the different depictions of Luthor throughout the franchise, but he sure doesn't look like he fits as Luthor to me.

I have to agree on this one. His looks are just too angular and boy-ish. Lex Luthor had a more square-shaped face and is more mature-looking. Unless this newbie wants to go through some facial plastic surgery and get more bulked up, then he's not going to pass as Luthor very convincingly. The acting on the other hand is an entirely different manner. Can he pull of a corporate monomaniac? We'll see.
-
Maybe they're aiming for a young Harry Osbourne style evil millionaire, like a young Lex Luthor or something, reinventing the character. Oh, well.
-

Yeah, so far we've got an old Batman, a young Superman and what's probably gonna look like a boy Lex Luthor. Maybe they'll prove us all wrong but especially after Man of Steel I have a hard time seeing this as anything but a trainwreck waiting to happen.
-
I just hope when Affleck plays Bruce Wayne, he wears his "casual suit" douchebag clothes he seems to wear in every movie: unbuttoned gray/light brown jacket, non-collared untucked shirt, super baggy pants. Probably has tennis shoes (like, real tennis-playing shooz) too but never noticed.
-
This movie is turning out to be a big unfunny Joke, if only Dane Cook could play a major role to put this icing on the cake.
-
I think the release delay already spells trouble.
On a related news, Gal Godot signed a 3 movie deal to become wonder woman. Oh hell, no.... >:(

Batman Begins was really good, but everything else sucks, even Dark Knight kinda sucks now that the Joker gimmick wore off
