2. Golden Express Stage. Catch a ride on a golden train overflowing with coins.

4. Speed Run Levels. Rush to the end with the clock set to 100.
5. Mystery Houses. Complete rapid-fire challenges for green stars.

It looks very fun and that's coming from someone that largely dislikes the 3D mario games.

What's great about 3D Land (and I assume World) is that it plays very much like the 2D Mario games, yet with a small bit of Galaxy style overhead feel. They're kinda like isometric games and World is looking deliciously wonderful. I'm planning to have some buddies over the weekend it's out.

I like the ridiculous amount of content. Everything from the large number of power'ups to the addition of the 5th character and huge variety of stages is all a testament of great design philosophy.

Wow, so before, people were complaining about how you cannot play as Peach.
Now you get Peach AAAAAAND Rosalina, with different movesets.
Also, LOL at "Luigi Bros.". xD
And this is just from the first video. I've not seen the others.

Isn't Rosalina considered to be God in the Mario universe because of her all-important role in Super Mario Galaxy?

Well yeah, this is the game that finally makes me want a Wii U. I'm really glad every time a new Mario game turns out to NOT be a 2D platformer with the word "new" in the title. It's funny how Mario is the only classic franchise that I DON'T want anymore 2D platformers. At least not for a long time. NSMB2 and NSMBWiiU were just meh..
I wonder why this game has "3D" in the title though. It made sense in 3D Land, but not here. I guess it's all about brand cohesion..

in short, no. you could call her god-like, but she isn't a deity.

Love everything about this....

Ah, maybe after some Wii U pricedrops, it's totally great, but investing like $200+ to another platform is kinda crazy right now, even for this. ;D

Soon I'll be getting either a PS3, PS4, or Wii-U, and this is making want the Wii-U really bad

Agreed, what I truly like about 3D land and world is that it's 2d Mario converted to 3d in the sense that there's no life (pie) gauge or attacking as standard Mario (like 64, galaxy) you have to jump/stomp enemies to kill and you require a powerup or it's a one hit death. That and the flagpole after each level feels more like classic Mario.
