This topic is devoted to all developers, designers, artists, musicians, ect. who have left their mark on Castlevania, but are in other places.
I recieved a newletter from SEGA on added features on PSO2.

I'm gonna dig to see if I can find a listen, it just sounds castlevania
let's expand and show our appreciation and support to them

Where is Hagihara :(

Soshiro Hokkai seemed to vanish after doing sound work for Nanobreaker. I could've sworn someone said his named popped up very recently, like in Metal Gear or something.

at first glance i thought this topic was gonna be about "what do the Belmonts & co. do after they defeat dracula?" :(
i would like to know what hirooka masaki (ooe artist) is doing

Hidenori Maezawa? :(

This, IGA is way too overrated. Also the original creator of Castlevania himself or herself :-[

All we know I think is that they're alive. IGA said he couldn't reveal who the original creator was because they were no longer at Konami, presumably there's some kind of NDA or something place to prevent creators having too much control over the things they invent.

Akihiro Nagata was the producer and lead designer for Vampire Killer, so it's possible that he also did the NES version as well.
-
According to wiki, the head/director of NES/famicom game is Hitoshi Akamatsu, he also did the following 2 sequels as well.
-
Damn, how could I have forgotten about that whole thread, since it was Shelverton who got that info.

Also relevant is Naggermo's post:

Yeah, the Castlevania creator deity is Akamatsu.
I want to know what happend to the character designer from CV1. Not the one who did cover, but the one who did the manual illustrations on which the sprites are based. I know it's the same artist who did illustrations for Esper Dream. The credits imply the artist is a woman because they list the designer as "Pretty Miyuki". Would be neat if true.

So now that he's no longer with Konami, he should be able to tell us, right? (Unless he signed some contract with Konami stating he couldn't release certain info.) We need to do another fan-fueled interview with Iga...

If he's no-longer with Konami then by all accounts any contracts he has signed with them are void. He can say whatever he wants to as that's within his freedom and choice to do-so. And Konami can't do a thing about it cause it would violate his rights and freedoms under the law, and human rights charter. It should be fine for him.
-
at this point he prolly doesnt even remember, honestly
its like someone asking you "can you tell us who delivered you as a newborn at the hospital when you were born?" most of you will respond with "... lol wat"
the name is on your birth certificate, but unless you dig it up in your attic somewhere or wherever, you more than likely wont know off the top of your head

Um, no. That's not how it works. Conditions to a contract can be in place LONG after departure from your employer.

Exactly. Contracts are however binding their language makes them. If he signed a contract saying he wouldn't divulge certain info, then he can still be sued for breaching that contract even after he quits/retires. At least, that's how it would work in the USA. I don't know the first thing about Japanese civil law.
