Title: Original Rondo of Blood Wii vs. PSP - Differences?

I have only played the original TurboGrafx-16 Rondo of Blood on the PSP, but the Wii version is out there. Does the Wii version play and/or look better? What are the differences regarding the original game? I'm trying to decide if I need to play the Wii version since I played the PSP version. Thanks.

I think they're pretty much the same? The Wii version is still in Japanese though.

There is virtually no difference between the Rondo of Blood for PC-Engine and Rondo of Blood for Wii.
Features:
-Introduction in German with Japanese Subtitles
-All Cutscenes in Japanese (including all endings)

The differences are between these versions and the DraculaXChronicles unlockable for PSP, which features the following:
-Introduction in German, English Subtitles
-All Cutscenes are in English, dialogue being different than the remake's dialogue.  No subtitles

However, I've not played DXC in quite a while so I cannot fact-check myself and I'm going on memory alone.  I always play the Wii version.

The voice of narration in the opening was different in PSP though, I'm still talking about the original version.

The altered German narration from Dracula X Chronicles is in both the PSP unlockable Rondo and the North American VC Rondo. I'm not sure why the VC release had to be altered, but it was only here, even though the subtitles are still in Japanese; the Japanese VC version has the original German narration.

I think Jorge mentioned all the differences. The only things I would add are that the game looks better on the Wii VC on a TV.

Japanese Wii VC RoB is upgraded and narration has already been changed.

GR: You should keep the German voiceover for the opening, though.

KI: So, yes, we will retain the German voiceover. But we weren't able to spot the original voice person, so we are going to be asking a new native German speaker to take that part.

Huh. I downloaded a WAD for the JP VC ROB (before it was available in the US) and it has the original narration.

It is an old version. Although original narration was used once, it was updated behind.
