Title: Entrance Hall (Super Castlevania IV)
Post by: Qwertyvania on October 04, 2014, 08:19:10 PM
Just wondering, does anyone else find that the fact that the song doesn't really loop, just starts over, makes it creepier? It kind of seems like there's a ghost that just plays it over and over and over again, having nothing else to do for eternity.

Yes, and it was the only reason I was ok with Vampire Killer not being used.

Yes, its the best. so creepy..

And in the Treasury, that creepy piano, I pictures a ghost playing that. When will there be a CV with nearly as much atmosphere as Super CV IV? What other games, or levels in the franchise do you feel come close? I felt Order of Ecclesia's Mystery Manor had a nice creepy vibe..

Every time I hear that synth organ bit at the very beginning, I expect to see one of those giant baseball signs in the background.
