What is the most powerful weapon in the series??
Personally, I think that is the crissagrim (spelling) from SotN.

The Vampire KIller!
-
THE SWORD OF DAWN! Look at the SIZE OF THAT THING!
-
When I say the most powerful, I mean the weapon that can kill the strongest enemies the easiest.
-
Considering the classic series, the Axe does the most damage, but if used correctly, Holy Water can kill strong enemies the quickest in many CV games where the flames stay in one place. Otherwise, the cross will kill the quickest.
If your talking about Castleroids, then Crissagrim by far...
-
yeah the Crissagrim kills everything!
theres nothing more powerful think if they gave a bad guy that sword :'(
you get your ass killed in 20 sec.lol
-
pssh, power of sire! if anything, away from harm and makes you twitch to death if nothing else!
-
For me is Claim Solais or it's newest name, holy claymore!
-
Holy water, both originals and Metroidvanias.
-
I will go with bibuti or the original throwing knife....
Nah, but seriously everyone knows its the crissaegrim. stats wise its actually the sword familiar but chrissy strikes faster.
favourite weapon is a more open question. for that my vote would be the mourneblade and the coolness that is balmung.. it looks ace and makes a neat "whooshing noise" when you use it.
-
It's settled. The crissagrim is the most powerful/effective weapon.
-
I never really understood why the caled it the Crissaegrim anyway... they stole the name from a place in tolkein mythos where bird like men lived.... it's not actually named after any sword in fiction or reality but a PLACE

Jeremy Blaustein peppered his localization of Symphony with all kinds of extra Tolkien references, even where they didn't quite make sense. In the Japanese version, Crissaegrim is called Val Manwe; admittedly, it's still a Tolkien reference, but at least it refers to a person--Manwe Sulimo, leader of the Valar, whose name means "Blessed Wind"--rather than a mountain range.

So it's basically the same thing as aos/dos valmanway. Interesting. Not that I had doubts, it acted the same way. :P

The magic gun from COM. That thing was strong.
-
magic gun? and COM?
do you mean the laser gun in CotM?
I thought it was weak ****!

Yup it is at first but not at lv 99. ;D

it gets stronger as you lvl? I never knew that.

Yeah I kickass with it now can't use it on drac unfortunately though cuz his first form doesn't give you enough time and his second one is impossible to hit with it.

The Alucard Shield special combo (with shield rod) is 10 times more powerful than the crissaegrim, or any other weapon in the entire series.

I totally agree, I killed Galamoth in 19 seconds. Can't argue with that.

More than that even, since not only it hits for ridiculous damage, it also heals you on each hit, replenishes your hearts and stuff like that. It's almost god mode.

Yea.... but the alucard shield combo can't hit far, and without hitting far, it can be useless against someone with a crissaegrim. But other than that, yea... its definitely more powerful than crissaegrim.
