My brother and mother bought all of my systems for me just because they thought I wanted them (which I so did), but I did convince my mother to buy me a Sega Saturn when I was like 12 or 13 just so I could play Darkstalkers. As far as all of ye new fangled systems go, I have none but a simple DS that my man (or as I like to call him, Count Dorkula) bought me for Christmas 2 years ago.

N64: Castlevania (I am a collector after all)
GameCube: Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime
NDS: Dawn of Sorrow
SNES: Super Castlevania IV
MegaDrive: CV The New Generation

The NES and PS2 originally had no "must have" games for me, just a bunch of really good ones. Also, when I bought PS2 I had no DVD player so I used it as one for awhile.

They sure make sturdy systems. I read in a gamer mag that one of their demo systems at some press event got the red rings of death. haha

N64 - Zelda OoT
Gamecube - Soul Calibur II
PS2 - Manhunt
GBA - All 3 CVs

I also re-purchased an SNES a while back, mostly for SCIV. I've bought some other really good ones for it since.

And I bought DXC when it came out, but I haven't bought a PSP yet.

And I want Wii mostly for Twighlight Princess, and MGS4 is the main reason I want a PS3. I'll have all 3 current-gen consoles then. :)

Assasin's creed on PS3 has some bugs that screw up the game. Might want to do some research on that one first.
