Just wondering, because I'm not sure what to use.
-
I use a mouse. I've never owned nor used a tablet. Someday I might, but not right now.
-
I use a mouse, but that's mostly because I don't have a tablet.
-
If cross stitch patterns are considered sprites, I'm using a mouse.
-
You should post more of them Shiroi since it was a long time ago that you posted them.
-
I use a intros 4 for most things such as digital art and texturing for 3D, but if I need to do some in-depth sprite work I generally use the mouse only.
-
@Lely: I am too lazy to post the finished stitched products.

I don't have a mouse nor a tablet, so I use my laptop's trackpad;

If I'm doing portraits, I use a tablet, get everything exactly how I want it in big high-res, and then SRHINK it to videogame-sized portraits.
If I'm doing pixel-art, it's all about the Mouse.

I don't have a tablet, so I use a mouse for pixel art (more for editing than anything else though, as I seldom do that kind of artwork). On the rare occasion when I want to pixelize a hand-made drawing, I use an art program that has a filter for that, and then clean it up with the mouse.

I use a mouse, but maybe that's because I'm use to it. Also because I always sprite on low resolution scales, like NES/SNES so it's never really needed a pen's precision.
Of course I sketch with my tablet though.
