Yeah costumes are cool but um what?

Part of me is thinking: "Dude! Awesome!"
Part of me is thinking: "I have no idea what they're saying or what's happening!"
and part of me is going: O_o "...eh?"
...and then they break out in The Lion King. X-D
Costumes are freakin' awesome though!

Costumes are really awesome, but the rest was... interesting. :P

What the... if it wasn't for the mostly gorgeous costumes (aside for the unnecessarily sexy werewolf girls), I would be asking for some brain bleach. Especially at the Be Prepared! number. Hearing Nightwish as well... It's 'interesting', that's for certain. The ending seemed to be building up to something dramatic, then just somehow ended, with a casually dressed guy just ambling amongst the cosplayers, as Dracula and Alucard turned around.

I was never a fan of movie musicals or musicals in general so I would recommend the brain bleach. That's perhaps the only reason why I have no real interest in Disney films because of all their breaking out into song for no reason :P I just want to watch the damned movie, stop singing! At least The Emperor's New Groove didn't do that. So...yeeeaaaahhhh, not gonna touch this vid with a 60 foot pole.

For a decent musical with vampires in, I highly recommend Tanz der Vampire, based on Roman Polanski's film of the same name )also known as The Fearles Vampire Killers. It's absolutely hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myGlZAdmZbI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myGlZAdmZbI) Marc Liebisch and Drew Sarich (the latter of whom was also in The Vampire Lestat musical) are brilliant as Graf von Krolock, and his son Herbert von Krolock.

Whoohoo~ thanks for the warning!
I was tempted to watch but luckily didn't. :)

I can't help but wonder how close/identical their version of "Be Prepared" is to the one in The Lion King.
