It's finally done. Pardon the poor photos:

I had hoped to sell this piece, but I don't think it's worth it, to be honest. It didn't turn out to be as detailed as I had hoped.
I made the morningstar chain from an actual steel chain. It's been glued in place so that it doesn't move. The handle and ball I sculpted. The sculpture has a thick metal armature wire. The sword has a metal core, too.
I used oil paint to give it the dark finish. It's still curing and it take weeks to come before it's fully dry.

Thanks, but the Neca prototype sculpt was quite detailed.:D This was my first sculpture, and has a lot of flaws. I've learned a lot from it, however. My next sculpt will be much improved.
Here are some better quality photos:

I took the pics in natural light to try and expose the flaws a little more.
I would sell it, but I'm not exactly sure how to price it. I may just start the bidding at $15 and let people make offers on it.
It will be a week or two before it's ready to be sold (if I sell it). The paint is still curing (I don't want to ship it with wet paint).

BTW those cracks in the armor aren't natural cracks. I deliberately made them with a knife, to give his armor a clawed-up look.
-
In the photos I noticed it has a little bit of residue left over from a paper cloth that I used to wipe it down with. I took a small paintbrush to it and the residue came right off, in case you were wondering what that discoloration around the head is.
I will have to clean it up some more and take additional photos. I'll upload a video if I can.

Wow...that's fantastic in so many ways. When you say this is your first one, that makes it that much sweeter. Very, very good work!

Looks cool!

You wouldn't happen to be planning to make more of these?

I'm thinking about it. I will go with something a little more simplistic if I do, such as CV1 or CV2 Simon. Trevor's design is fairly elaborate and requires more intricate detailing (the armor, the cape). It was tedious work. At one point I was so dissatisfied with how it was shaping up, I almost scrapped the project.
Thanks for the compliments, guys.

It is a professional job. Do you sculpt for a living or just a hobby?
