Just bought this sexy beast on EBay.

Pretty book but damn that's expensive.

I got my copy form CD Japan. Especially with the yen currency conversion being pretty good now, it's much cheaper than what it would be from the ebay seller most likely even once postage is factored in - it's working out at $30 for the book sans p&p. It's a stunning book, and well worth buying - it's one of my most treasured books.

book sans p&p.
Please, what that means? :P
Also this site seem much more viable to me, its cheaper.

The price of the book without postage and packaging (p&p) included.
CD Japan is really good, I've been buying stuff via them for years, and they do frequent shopper discounts, and exclusive bonus items on some things such as cds, eg, posters. I bought Santa Lilio Sangre back when it first came out, and the postage cost quite a bit compared to the book's price (but also, back then the yen exchange rate wasn't as good). However, it came very well packaged, and even though I ordered it around New Years, it came, I kid not, to the other side of the world practically, in just four days.

Sorry about that, darkmanx_429. :( I really do understand your annoyance here on this.

Who cares what the next guy paid. If it's worth $76 to you (and it certainly is worth that much to me), then you'll enjoy it.

I got mine from Amazon Japan, since I know someone in Japan, I only have to pay for the book when I go there minus the p&p. hehehe.
The book is worth more than the price.

Agreed. It's quite simply a stunning book, and is well worth owning, and not just for the Castlevania art containe inside. The artwork contained is sometimes downright creepy, graphic, yet always hauntingly beautiful.
-
Well guys at least you made me feel better about my purchase regardless of what I paid for it!
But, I DO know where I will be checking first next time!
-
I'm glad to hear it. :)
This is just a smal sample of the sort of things that are within: http://www.nattoli.net/entry/274/ayami-kojima-santa-lilio-sangre-ayami-kojima-art-works. (http://www.nattoli.net/entry/274/ayami-kojima-santa-lilio-sangre-ayami-kojima-art-works.)
CD Japan also has some of the Castlevania soundtracks listed on it as well, and the Japanese version of LoS2.

Amazon.co.jp is usually where I go for Japanese imports. Good prices and insanely fast shipping—I've literally gotten a package within two days of ordering.

Yes. I agree.
And they are even faster in Japan (you could set a time for delivery as well, hehehe).
The only thing that's a bummer for Amazon Japan, is they can't ship out toys. :'(
