I find it odd that I've never seen this game earn any mentions on this forum, maybe because I'm relativelly new on it I guess.
This game is awesome, starting with a protagonist that literally punches Drac- Uh, "Nosferatu's" army to death, and ending with those sweet graphics that I use as reference today (no, seriously, that was like SotN before SotN. Look at those details and colors).
But there is one last thing that caught my eye just recently... Pay attention to this game's credits around 45 seconds...

That is too much of a coincidence.
I mean, if you take the dates this game was released and IGA's time on Konami, you'll see that it doesn't work, as this game is not Konami's. Plus, I never heard about IGA working on graphics himself. But there's more...
This mystery "K. Igarashi" also worked on Alien vs. Predator (SNES) and Nostradamus (Arcade) according to GameFAQS.
Is it me reading too much into things, or having a dude working on a game about a dude fighting his way inside a castle full of monsters, and also working on another game about a certain prophet too much to take in a single sip :p ?
It's weird for me having two guys with suspiciously similar names working on games that feel very much alike (sans whipping) and even more strange: Look at the graphics. Again, Nosferatu had almost-SotN quality graphics before SotN. Yeah, I can see that Nosferatu goes too far with the palette swapping for the background tiles and I kinda see it as a "size restriction", but look at it. LOOK AT IT.
What do you think?

It's a possibility. However the graphical resemblance between SotN and Nosferatu are actually quite different. They are the same when talking about invoking lots of details, but the color palette is where the similarities end. SotN had lots of colors lending to it's atmosphere; colorful, yet no too bright. Nosferatu's palette was dark, very dark. The colors were a lot more subdued and stayed within earth tones which helped reflect its atmosphere; creating a more photo-realistic look. But again were excellent and very detailed. Both palette choices and graphics suited their chosen games with success. I liked Nosferatu and was very enamored by the game's design. Did IGA actually work on this title? You could always ask him on his facebook page.

10 minutes on google gave me this: http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/Credits:Nostradamus (http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/Credits:Nostradamus)
Sorry bro, he is named Kaname Igarashi (K. Igarashi). Makes more sense since IGA seems to be more a programmer than a artist.
Another game that he worked on is Solitaire Poker for Game Gear, produced by Sankindo (same company from Nostradamus for Arcade)

Was it Kaname Igarashi or Kouzou (Kohzoh) Igarashi?
In 1994, the same time Nosferatu was made, there was a graphics designer named Kouzou Igarashi who worked on the arcade game Twin Eagle II, also made by SETA.
The only references to a Kaname Igarashi I've found so far outside that site were an inventor who had a patent used in the Nintendo DS and a co-producer for Jagainu-kun on the GBC, made by Victor (not SETA). And on that site, all the Kaname Igarashi references were for TG16 or GG games made by FACE (again, not SETA). Granted, those games were released before Nosferatu, but the arcade game Nostradamus was released in 1993 and at that point Kaname was often a director, so it would seem likely that Kaname was still at FACE when Nosferatu came out and thus the site is wrong.
Also looking at the graphics of Nosferatu, they don't seem like something Kaname would have made.
