I was just wondering who is the "coolest" or most favored character in all of the CV universe. Post a reply, I would like to hear what you have to say. My favorite charachter would probably be Alucard, since he is the son of Dracula. He also had a really cool costume and sword. But it seems like you don't know Alucard's whole story, he's kind of mysterious. Anyways, back to the topic, who is your favorite CV character?
-
Christopher Belmont! Why? Because he's the only one that he has struggle with Dracula twice + he has fought his own son.
-
Simon Belmont. You can't beat the original Belmont. His prowess in ass-kickery is unmatched. Sure, Chris fought his son, but he didn't even manage to kill Dracula the first time around, much less go out his way to revive him.
Simon got the job done. Twice.
-
Soma Cruz, for all the obvious reasons.
-
Trevor, cuz hes got friends! all the other ones don't get any! That means they're undesirable to be around!
-
Simon and Trevor of course!
-
Soma because of his obvious latent potential.
-
Simon for his ass whoopery and like it's been said before, he kicked D's ass on the first try and then kicked his ass again while he was cursed and weakened from draculas spell!
plus he has a cool costume and he's the original belmont.... and he doesnt needs friends to destroy the lord of darkness... he can manage just fine alone.
-
Death, he's always been the coolest looking and as hard if not harder than the main boss. (if he's not the main boss that is)
-
That bald dude that nobody liked and was completely worthless. Hammer? Yea, him.

Maria... or possible Trevor.

Reinhardt. Primarily because he had a few doubts, but he never got dramatic over them. He didn't let anger overrule his will after losing Rosa to Death. And he got the girl at the end of the story, along with some of the best closing musical crescendos and inspiring final words in CV history. First and foremost, however, I went into his adventure with more than a few doubts about Castlevania in 3D. But by the end I was having so much fun that I couldn't wait to play through it again.
Before him, it used to be Simon. He was a cut above the other Belmonts in his day (game-wise) and you just had to acknowledge the afore-mentioned ass whupping skills. I also sympathized with the dude for having a crappy incarnation of his namesake made for "Captain N The Gamemaster" on Saturday mornings.

Reinhardt Schneider because we Germans are the best!
-
Oh and Simon Belmont because he kicked ass on the N Team. Videoland would not be here today if it was not for his efforts against Motherbrain.
-
John Morris, for his sprite's disproportionate beefiness and his hilarious stair climbing animation.
-
it's a hard fight between richter and soma....
i think I would go with soma... there's just so much to him!
-
Richter Belmont OF COURSE

Simon Belmont has to be my favorite, alucard would be my second lolz. ;D

As for myself, I'm torn at this moment. John Morris knew from the start he would die as a result of his quest, but went ahead with it anyways. That kind of resolve is unmatched, but then again, Alucard had to kill his own father, who, while depraved and twisted, still loved his son, and Alucard still loved his father. That would have been incredibly hard for a son to do. So it's a toss up.
Also, Richter's on my top 5.
