Title: Dark Souls 2: Should Lightning Spear Get a Buff?

This is sort of old news, but as many people know, over this past summer the Lightning Spear miracles (Lightning Spear, Great Lightning Spear, Sunlight Spear) were nerffed to the point of being practically useless. They now do very little damage and have very few casts.

My question is: Should these miracles gain some sort of buff? I'm in favor of two options. Either increase the number of casts for these miracles, or buff the damage so they did the same amount of damage before the nerf.

What is your opinion?

Dark souls is difficult enough as it is alone. Weapons (especially powerful ones) shouldn't be nerffed down to a pee-shooter category. If someone finds said powerful weapon and wants to use it so that they stand a better chance at the game, then that's their prerogative.

I used the lightning spear in Dark Souls 1 but not as much in 2 so, I'm not sure.

nerfing uses is fine, but nerfing the strength was stupid. it's literally useless now outside of really early NG.

Sunlight Spear however isnt that bad. it can still 1 shot someone.

I think it's kind of pointless that it got nerfed. It was easy enough to avoid in PvP (way too telegraphed), and it just makes it less useful in PvE.
