well i decided to do a downsample for once, it was originally ment to be a nes mix but ended up as a blend of NES and commodore 64, anyways enjoy.

Very nice. It has a classic tone in it, but it reminds me more of GB and less NES. Anyway, thanks for sharing! ;)

Did you use a downmix soundfont, or do you have knowledge of that cool programming language that makes NSFs?

actually just a simple program that has different instrument sets one being famicon, but it requires midi files to downmix them, well i read up on it i found out: chip which once had been embraced as an external module for Konami's MSX cartridges like Nemesis II.
if you have winamp here is some castlevnaia music from the commodore 64, plugin included since its actualy commodore music.

Ah, I've got a MIDI player that does something similar. It's called GX-SCC.
It's pretty awesome, but not as awesome as my NES/SuperCustomChip Soundfont (made it myself). That's how I make my downmixes. :3

same program, lol i do have a few midi editors so i can rearrange the instruments making my own peices sorta
