Title: Let's do stuff to the new character from the pachinko game
Post by: Super Waffle on August 02, 2015, 10:30:18 AM
The character:

The concepts:
http://abicion.tumblr.com/post/125666237562/ (http://abicion.tumblr.com/post/125666237562/)

I've only seen a few quick glimpses of her steampunk Final Fantasy X-2 looking design, I don't even know her name, and I'm already coming up with my little schemes. What sorts of comments, suggestions, criticisms, and/or concerns for my well-being do you have for me, CVD?

But seriously. Do you have any ideas for putting this character in strange gothic situations I haven't already thought of? I want to hear your opinion.

I think she should fall into the clutches of the secret boss in the new Pachinko game no one has heard about yet: the evil mastermind behind everything living in the castle basement named...Abicion. 8)

That would be a little too real for me. Any other ideas?

How about a story where she makes friends with the magical castle cat, Gunlord :3

Ok, and where exactly would that go?

Ok, and where exactly would that go?

I would be living in the castle arboreum, where all the pretty flowers are :3

Bestiality is not gothic horror, X.

So she gets eaten by a giant flower and becomes one? I already did that with Maria.

What about having her become enslaved by a dopplegange that's taken her own form?

Bestiality is not gothic horror

But it sure is EROTIC VIOLENCE

And I like to think Konami would have done that in a heartbeat if they felt they could have gotten away with it.

If you're not going with the dullahan/slug combo...

How about use a white dragon/fleaman combo?

Well I'm not using the Dullahan + Slug combo.

I'm using the Dullahan + Dullahan's big-ass sword + New girl's neck combo.

I already have about half of it written.

I bet ya they could since it's not all that far off from tentacle porn. Speaking of that, what about something similar to the creature of the black lagoon? Except the creature actually goes all the way with the woman. Since the fishmen from CV are taken from the black lagoon, you could write something along those lines.

Dammit why does everyone want me to write about monsters having sex with the girl?

I'm trying to be spooky, not sexy. If all I wanted was sexy, I'd just play the godawful pachinko game.

No, I mean she goes to the arboreum, looks at all the pretty flowers, meets kitty gunlord, and they all live happily ever after :D

How about she goes to the arboreum, meet kitty gunlord, and then they fight dracula together. But when they beat dracula, it turns out he was just a servant of a far greater evil: Dave Cox!

Waffle is impossible to please, wouldn't you say, Gunny?
I still say writing an edgy thinly veiled hentai lemon is the best way to attract... clicks.
It worked well enough for PachinKonami, after all. ;D

Then you can write five chapters, and release them as optional paid add-ons, with two single chapter releases being for $4.99 each and then a single three chapter release for $9.99.

Then dive into your swimming pool filled with money.

If you're looking to write a Gothic horror sketch Super Waffle then you might be looking in the wrong place  ;D

Most of the work you've shown us is basically erotica. So naturally that's what we were assuming, and why we were throwing ideas your way that were erotic in nature. Believe me, no insult was directed at you--personally or professionally. In terms of a Gothic horror sketch I can't say I have any ideas for you to work with. You're best bet would be to read around a bit in that particular genera. Or maybe watch some Gothic horror films if you know of any that can help you. I'm sure you'll find some ideas that you can implement into a story of your liking.

Honestly, as a no-kidding honest suggestion, I would suggest reading Carmilla and bits of Dracula, seeing as they're kind of the pinnacle of Vampire fiction, for better and worse.

Anytime someone has trouble with a gothic idea for fiction, I point them to the classics. You don't need to bust out Victorian writing chops, but examine how authors deal with the concept of breaking out of personal chains of behavior (which was the effect Dracula in particular had on those he turned), and the duality between the masks people wear to seem decent versus the unchained Id of the vampire characters. You don't have to restrict yourself to analyzing gothic vampire literature, but that is the most prevalent and easy to find example of the genre today.

She was breathing hard from exertion. A slight mist of sweat started to form on her forehead. Her heart was racing, pumping additional fresh blood to her arms, her head, and her legs. She carefully watched Dullahan's erratic sword swings before countering with her weapon. A feeling of confidence grew inside of her as the duel continued. She had the advantage now. All she had to do was finish the horseman off.

The two swords clashed together, separated, and clashed again. Victoria swung toward a weakened joint in Dullahan's shoulder armor before he blocked her. Dullahan slashed at Victoria's ankles, but she quickly stepped out of the way and again crossed her sword with his. Victoria swung lower. Dullahan swung higher. Victoria's sword missed a vulnerable spot on Dullahan's torso by half an inch. The edge of Dullahan's sword met the delicate silk choker around Victoria's throat.

It was a liberating experience for her in the most unfortunate sense. The blade glided cleanly through her neck as if she were nothing more than a ripe grain of wheat waiting to be harvested. Her shoulder length red hair fluttered gently in the sudden deadly breeze. The threads of her choker split in half and slipped away from her dress. The vicious force of Dullahan's strike mingled with the graceful energy in her own movements to send her head flying forward and upward into the air. She became like a beautiful and morbid angel fountain as a crimson arch sprung out from the newly-formed stump of her neck, her rushing blood abruptly set loose from the narrow pressurized confines of her arteries. Her sword clattered to her feet while her arms flopped limply to her sides. Her head skipped across the ground, rolled several meters, and came to a stop. The rest of her body spasmed in the gruesome approximation of a riposte before crumpling to the floor. Her legs twitched violently inside their thigh length leather boots for a few more seconds before they became entirely motionless. One of the greatest drawbacks of being a mortal girl was her body couldn't survive once it had been cut free from her pretty little head.

Excuse me good sirs but what do you find so erotic about this

Honestly, as a no-kidding honest suggestion, I would suggest reading Carmilla and bits of Dracula, seeing as they're kind of the pinnacle of Vampire fiction, for better and worse.

I read both of those like three years ago. I made a thread about it. Carmilla had crazy subtle erotica. I remember Dracula having really dumb characters (so, so goddamn dumb) and there was a line about "corruption itself had become corrupt."

How about she goes to the arboretum, meets kitty Gunlord and they set off on a quest to seduce all the castle's male residents through dreams of erotic violence, but they keep failing because of a horrifyingly comedic misunderstanding of each individual's nature?

I've finally read your work on Victoria. It's good.

How about make her a double/triple agent?

With a detachable head?

Those are expensive and logistically difficult. Dracula should cut costs and just pay for a retractable one.
