but like better? Cause I dunno even thought we only seen
Julius after 1999, I think he has some traits to Richter.
Also I don't think the rumors are true about a DS 1999 game
and a console 1999 game. the 1999 battle might be exclusive
to consoles most likely cause IGA probably wants to present
it with really good graphics. but probably keep it 2.5D
or something, but I didn't like DXC look, but then again PSP
is inferior to the latest consoles.
But yeah it will be amazing seeing how different Julius will
look.

He'll probably look like this

That's an awesome pic!
-
If Kojima-san is doing the character designs, I could give a shit what the dude'll look like cuz' they all look the same to me when she's in charge, mmm'kay?
-
Extremely well done! :o ;D
-
He WILL have mustache, thats his trademark, lol.
-
That pic looks pretty cool, generic belmont but cool nonetheless.
-
That's the concept artwork for Juste, from the Aria of Sorrow preorder artbook.
Meh, I've always imagined a young J looking like Rick in a more Western get-up.
-
and by golly, it looks exactly like Simon in your sig!
-
Meh. Simon's concept was included, but he had white hair and this odd blue-leather outfit.
-
As long as he's still got the sweet goatee and stache, I'm happy
-
I don't know. I think the stache and goatee was to show that Julius was an older man. 1999 Julius is 19-years old. I doubt he'd be drawn with facial hair given that moster of the other Belmonts in their twenties lack facial hair.
-
I agree, young Julius should have a beard, at least.

Which is another REALLY good reason for him to have a beard and 'stache as a youth too.
-
He'll probably look the same, other than his cloths might be diff. cuz if he's wearing the same cloths as 1999 in the later games I gotta know what they're made of cuz I can barely get mine to last 1 year with heavy wear. Especially pants, I always bust holes in the knee area.

Isn't that just Trevor? But yeah, he'll probably look sometyhing along the lines of that. Anyway I'm still skeptical. I'm not sure if Iga will even come out with a 1999 game.

Can you post a pic? Because according to this site he looked like his Chronicles version. In fact, I don't even see that young Julius pic. http://castlevania.classicgaming.gamespy.com/Games/aria.html

There seems to be a lot of confusion in this topic.
(https://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv119%2Fc0mbat%2Fartbook13.jpg&hash=1a51f6285c8f00dc1adfea46318c8b29fd7e4904)
Here's the full image. As you can see, there are concept images of the various characters, two of which being Julius (young and old). Simon concept is on the upper left, while Juste is on the upper right.

That's the concept of Trevor, just in case anyone was wondering.
All the Belmont's look similar, but each still have their own distinctive traits contrary to what others want to believe.
-
I seriously doubt that was intended as an image of young Julius. It was most likely just another preliminary design for Simon.
-
Or trevor. I mean, Iga's been speaking all the time how he loves cv3, so he might've planned to redesign it or have cod in plans for a while.
Or it's concept art for sotn Richter.
-
Hmm.. lets take it a step further & say it could've been Shaft! Or maybe Alucard? :o

By my calculation, Jules was 16 around the time he supposedly handed Drac his walking papers. That is, if he was indeed 56 at the time of Dawn's events. T'would put his birth date around 1983.
*blinks at the pile of Belmonts etched by Kojima-san*
.....If ya can't say anything nice, keep yer f***ing mouth shut.

2036 - 56 isn't 1983. :P
More like around 1980.
-
The face says to me, Trevor. It has the same eyebrows as Trevor, same features in all.

...or maybe it was a self portrait! :P

Oh yeah...
Damn it, why did I mistake Aria's time setting for 2036 and the sequel's to '39? - One freakin' year passed between them anyway. I am so mathematically-impaired.

That's OK. I have trouble maintaining a B- average in Algebra.
-
Well, he would be 19 years old if my math is correct. So it's a possibility. I just hope that will be made soon. I think we've waited long enough.

Speak for yourself. I'm kinda dreading the game, actually.
