Picked this up, and well... it's pretty amazing, the power-ups are very un-expected given it's a metroidvania.
It's a bit of a mixed bag, sort of like Shovel Knight, mixing elements from other games and utilizing them in intereresting ways. The soundtrack is very good, gives a bit of Tron like vibe, but with it's own mix, best way to put it is a modern 80's like vibe which fits the cyberpunk world it's in. The graphics are strange, it uses 8-bit color scheme on a 16/32-bit asthetic, but unique since limited palettes aren't used. Controls are very good and I'm having a blast playing it.
Anyone else picked this up? if so, thoughts?

That game looks really messed up! I gotta give it a play-through 8)

Its a neat game, but the environments are VERY samey, which hurts it.
And for how big it is, there is no fast travel, which even later metroidvanias had, so that hurts it a bit too. I have no desire to backtrack when not only cant I get from point A to B quickly, but i'll get lost along the way due to the environments
still overall its a nice game

It's one of the games I'm most looking forward to when I upgrade to PS4. I wish it would get released on the 360, Wii, or PS3. I don't care much for PC gaming, so I'm waiting til I can play it on console.
