I sure did.
With my mother's credit card I bought Ikaruga for xbox live.
-
That's about as low as anyone can get!
-
No.
Funny thing. I was about to give my friend 10 dollars to buy Ikaruga on his 360 but then I realized I don't go to his house. D:
-
no, when I was little I'd just ask for the money for some necessity or for a movie or something and would not use it for what I said I was gonna use it for and pocket it. Jacking a credit card is not the best way to get a game as the game will show up on their monthly statement and if you deny you bought it they could get law enforcement involved.
-
Did it once as a kid, I felt really stupid and guilty afterwards though, not worth it. But it was cash, not credit card.

I was allowed to use it for food and other things.
If she ever asks me about it I'll just pay her the 12 dollars plus tax.
-
I did it once! I was 14 years old and i took some money from the closet where my dad used to keep the money to buy donkey kong country 2 at snes.
Every time that i'm thinking of it, i feel really bad. I would never do such a thing again! That's a promise to my self.
-
Hell no. I don't even accept money they try to give me in case of emergencies. I just wait for a holiday for games.
-
OMG.... Ikaruga on Xbox Live wasn't even released that long ago so you can't even use the excuse " I was young and immature". thats poor. how old are you

I think you are mixing two people together. Thernz mentioned ikagura and Olrox used teh credit card.
EDIT: Ah... nevermind, I got things mixed up, sorry sven. You were right.
-
I've used my pops credit card in the past to buy XBLA points without initially telling him, but I would always pay him back right after doing so, so it wasn't actually stealing. Never really did steal anyone's money to buy a game.

First off
I did not steal the credit card it was given to me because my mother is out of town and I sometimes don't have money for food or supplies.
Second
I will pay her back if she notices or I just might tell her when she gets back home.

The topic title is "Ever stolen money from parents to get a game?"
Your response is "I sure did." "Ikagura for Xbox Live."
What's going on?
-
Busted!

When I was younger, like 8, my parents would give me $2 each day for lunch at school. Anywho, my brother and I saved it and without them knowing we bought Pokemon Red and Blue. Then one day they asked what we were playing, we told them. They asked how we got it and when we told them they just laughed!
I don't think that really counts as stealing though

Well since all of you here talked about how bad it was I decided to pay her back for it.
-
Whenever my parent's go on a vacation without me, they usually leave me some money for food and such, so before I got a job I used to spend "food money" on games, and I'd end up eating like noodles (which is like the cheapest dinner, sadly it's not very filling either...).
But I don't feel like that's stealing, more me sacificing some neccessary for something silly, which I guess is kind off a crime against myself :P .

Using your imagination is far easier a way to get off than looking at that stuff. plus if you close your eyes you can imagine someone else is doing that to you ;-)
Just some tips for when your alone next time :)
