Yeah, thats my guess too. I'm sure we'll be seeing some info on both Order of Ecclesia and this "Judgement" at E3 or TGS this year

I believe that this is what we get from KONAMI for making fun with the leaked shots from the new DS game. Just names and not any kind of info, until the games get released and find out for our selves.
This is the KONAMI punishment, coming from IGA and he's team. :P

Wonder if this is the 360 one.
Eee. Good to be hearing about new games. Also, thank god they dropped the "Noun of Adjective" formula at least for one game.

Well, Iga said he wanted to do a 360 game and if the PS3 picks up sales, which it did, they'd put it on that too....so I really hope they do!
-
Yes! Another game for the majority of cv fans to bitch about!
-
Judgment? Hey, there's no "of"!
I love this game.

As I said in another thread, there is no way Konami will make the next console Castlevania either a PS3 or Xbox 360 exclusive. If it goes on one, it will be on the other. Between Xbox's dominance of the American market over the improving yet still disappointing PS3, and the downright anemic sales of the 360 in Japan, they would be shooting themselves in the foot to limit it to either console.
That said, I hope this is the next-gen Castlevania. I can't wait to see some vampire whipping bad-assery in High Def glory!

Holy fucking crap!! :o
Is this what we get from the dry spell. I remember right prior to the trademark "Order of Ecclesia" being known that a lot of people were saying, "What the hell? Isn't it time for Konami to announce something?!!". Wow, even though Konami hasn't addressed this with a press release or announcement, just knowing about the name registers, it's interesting that we might have to CV games to look forward to. And two that might soon be officially be announced.
And yeah, "Castlevania Judgement" is a strange title. What kind of "judgement"? Could THIS be the one related to 1999? The final judgement of Dracula?

Not final enough >.>

I doubt they're going to wait until the game is released to give us info (more so since we know little to nothing about the second title, leaked or otherwise) but I do agree that this would be a bit of a punishment because of the leaked screens. I'll admit, I definately believe we should have gotten SOMETHING by now.
Maybe some magazine or something will have it by May. Or we might just have to wait until E3.
-
Heheh, I dunno if they'd actually go out of their way to punish fans for acting like fans. :-X
I think there's something else going on. I don't know if they think they have a feature that should be considered exciting or worthwhile to keep a secret to spur some anticipation or what. Or maybe this is something still long in development.
-
Feels like a punishment though. XD
Maybe they are waiting to introduce both games at once. If the leaked screens are true, it did say something about the Wii. Maybe the game's for that system and the games will be connected and have some kind of great feature, which is why we have to wait, because it's important the info for both games are released at once.

My predictions:
Castlevania Judgement is a text-based game. :P

What a Castlevania MUD for my PS3? Sounds like awesome fun to me. ;D
I disappear for awhile and this is what I get in return! Most excellent. :3 I'm looking forward to all the Castlevania news to start developing.

My inside sources have told me it will be another great Tiger handheld.

This conjecture on the Wii connectivity for the DS game in the "leaked" screens indicating the platform for Judgment has got me thinking. I have absolutely no interest in the Wii whatsoever; I mean absolutely none. So I'm wondering to myself, if the new Castlevania is a Wii exclusive, would it be enough to make me get one? I had no intention of getting a DS either until my Vania addiction drove me to finally crack and buy one for DoS. But unless the hypothetical Wii Castlevania is truly epic--like Symphony Killing epic--I think I'd just let this one go.
Am I alone in this?

You make a good point, if those screens are indeed real. I wouldn't mind too much cause I already have a Wii, and with the sales of the system being as high as they are, I wouldn't put it past Konami to put a new CV on the Wii. However, graphically it wouldn't look as nice as the PS3 or 360 but it could still look good.
The only thing that worries me is gimmicky controls. Iga has said before that if there were a CV on the Wii it would use motion control in limitation, plus after DoS, he mentioned he might steer clear of gimmicky controls that tend to be a pain to pull off and take away from the game itself.
Great point though

I would never buy a console for just one game. So yeah, I'd probably pass on a Wii Castlevania if I felt that way about the Wii. I own all three next gen consoles so I don't care where the next CV is going. I do recommend a Wii though, it has some extremely cool games and there are more on the horizon. Just like the 360. And the PS3. I could never settle for only one. But by the sound of it, you've already made up your mind. So no, don't get the Wii just to play one game. Personally I play maaaany games.

Dunno if I really want the next console Castlevania to be on the Wii...I suppose I'd have to see it in action. Maybe if it's done right, cause otherwise, I really don't care. I just want a good console Castlevania.
