Jesus. Sounds like a theme for some twisted dark Musthroom kingdom with everyone dead and a desperate Mario needs to face Bowser in one final bloody duel.. :o

Not something I'd expect to hear in an SMB game.

It's from Famicom 20th Anniversary Arrange Sound Tracks and by Motoi Sakuraba.

It's actually quite good. ;D
They should have used this track for the Mushroomy Kingdom stage in SSBB instead of the crappy one they used in the World 1-1 version of the Mushroomy Kingdom.

The stage's purpose was to make look as if the kingdom was battle ravaged and left in ruins or something like that.
The BGM in the video WOULD'VE GONE PERFECT WITH IT. :-\

Still.. it's an awesome game

It sounds like Metal Gear Solid 3 and Mario had an invisible baby.  That's a good thing, by the way...

Google Galbadia Hotel and check out the Famicom 20th Anniversary album.

This kickass song inspires me to do a mock trailer. Maybe someday. If someone else doesn't beat me to the punch.  ;D
