Hi forum, I just found this patch and got surprised, it is really enjoyable, don't expect this to be faithful and that is where the fun is. I was expecting this year a celebration from Konami, with nothing came from them enjoy this made by Manuel Pazos & Imanok.

The physics are a bit different, for example the eagles drop the hunckbacks towards not downwards, so it's difficult to hit them. The box art looks great, doesn't? these are the kind of things that true fans did with love and passion to have not only proper games but also covers, manuals cartridge cases and so on.

Nice vid, I never noticed that, actually I found a glitch on "Vampire Killer" not the vk2cv hack that happens when Simon is hit by Bone Pillar's fireballs and get downwards then Simon got stuck inside the wall blocks (check the image where is it), saddly no video.

This seems less a patch and more a remake of Super Famicom Castlevania realized via the assets of a technically superior port. But whatever you call it, it looks rad and fun as hell. I assume I'll need a decent MSX2 emulator?

On windows latest versions of blueMSX and blueMSX core for Retroarch are very good emulators, if you want to test your skills yourself then try the blueMSX core for Retroarch since this core doesn't support save states.

Talking about glitches and double jump I found one that maybe everyone knows, where a medusa head hits in middle of the jump and Simon goes through the blocks, I tried this in Frankenstein stage against the Bone Dragons but never achieve it (in theory It should work too).

Now that's a patch I can get behind. I'll have to try this out as soon as I have a chance.
The list of changes looks really promising, too.
