Whose name also starts with "q" and seemingly died a long, long time ago?

Qui-Gon Jinn, that's who.

And Crissaegrim can cut through basically anything.

Therefore Schmoo is the head of Qui-Gon and the Crissaegrim is clearly a lightsaber.
