Title: What exactly is a Dogether?

I mean aside from the fact it's an interdimensional being from the dark world that feasts on the pure souls of innocent young women, of course.

Is there more than one of it? Is it like a regular peeping eye that ate way too many Wheaties as a kid? Is it a different species entirely?

Dogether is the eye Odin gave up to learn some dope ass symbols and shit.
