Solid copy of the original, but I think that goes a little far. The two leads sound too washed out.
Again, this is how it was in the original, but I know you can make it sound better than that one. Honestly, it still sounds like it's coming from the DS (With headphones on mind you).
I dunno, maybe the bass is too loud? I rememebr you like flaring it.
Maybe just change the leads altogether. Experiment :)

Great!! Thanks!

the ds version lacks a bit to it compared to this, its identicle but different, i guess konami never released an original sound version for DOS?

No that's kinda why I'm doing these. I 'could' do PoR (I did do two tunes) but there's already a CD with rearrangements, so there's really no need.

Wait, I thought they did release DOS' soundtrack?

I think they kinda did, but it was just an OST, not like PoR where it had an OST on one disc and the Original (before it was downmixed to chiptune) version.
I'm trying to do something like the "Original" version tunes.

Damnit. Now methinks I should get POR ost :(

It wasn't really original as far as i remember, just the same midi tune with better non ds quality synths. If you compare them, they're almost identical note wise.
hell i even tried to mix them, and they fit perfectly with just few exceptions where they rearranged few notes.

Yeah, so basically they did what I usually do. Except they have the resources to potentially do awesome things, musically (unlike me, I just have a Live! card heh).
Still, I don't think they even bothered to do that with DoS.

Nah, if I remember, it was just that they put both AOS and DOS into one soundtrack (like they did with COTM and HOD), and AOS sounded like ass, because it was ported poorly.
DOS did sound clearer though. To me anyway.

Good cover. Thank you.
