Title: The most difficult Castlevania thread in history
Post by: Super Waffle on July 01, 2017, 10:23:02 AM
Name one good thing that came out of Judgment.

Hard Mode: You can't say the soundtrack or at least you can tell what character Alucard's design is supposed to be.

Soundtrack not allowed? Damn, that really IS Hard Mode...

It gave us more Grant? Even with shitty design, his character was a bit expanded upon and we finally got to see him again after all these years. That's a plus, right?

The supporting lore. It really does have a lot of lore details in it that help making sense of some stuff unexplained on the main games (and adds one or two new tidbits).

Super Waff always trying to corrupt people
since day 1

ahve you ever had chicken on waffles? or ice cream x waffles? of course not. sit down

The best part of Judgment is playing with a friend, instead of playing with yourself

playing with yourself

Between this and Carmilla's titty physics I'd say that's one good thing  ;D

It gives me more Castlevania to play, even if I'll probably never get around to it.  You know, because my first ten minutes made me embarrased to be a CV fan.

It's better than all three Lords of Shit games combined. David Cox has wet dreams about himself whacking off to Carmilla with his micro-penis that has been engulfed in his fat.

Ms. Cornell got a nod.

Nah, too vague, nobody here knows who I'm talking about.

Back when DCTP had a forum there was a user named Ms. Cornell and she was both a sweetheart and a big fan of the beastman.  Takeshi Obata's Cornell, as I recall it, resembled some sort of cybernetic Altered Beast but I'm sure, wherever she was, it tickled her to see her old beau getting some fresh recognition.

This game and Sengoku Basara 3 made me buy a Wii.
More details about some characters in the endings.
Cool mechanic of "finish the game with each char to earn a key for the true ending" actings as a sort of 200% or new game+.

Yet, no Slogra. xD

Considering the plastic surgery/blender that steamrolled the roster that may not've been a bad thing; Slog might've turned out looking like some sorta clothes hanger.

I'm really intrigued to know just what the fuck went on with the 'design' process for Judgment.  I mean, I love Misa Amane's look, that's an interesting interpretation of Death (IN DEATHNOTE, NOT CVJ), and respect for tons and tons of volumes about Go, but...fuuuuuuuuuuuck...!

You gave me the idea to search a Slogra design, but it seems you got a time machine and even drawn one before I could even search for one.  ;D
