This is a reference (I say this every year), to a hilarious-in-hindsight spam attack that was done on the old Castlevania Dungeons, many many moons ago.
A number of ne'er-do-wells gathered up on the night of 7|15 and initiated a large spam attack.
As a result, the mods at the time had to do some tidying up, as well as banning a few accounts.
Eric Roman was one of the co-conspirators, so he went to the banning box for a while.
He then proceeded to create an alternate account with those characters you see on the thread's first post, one being "Minoru", and later on being the maid. He infiltrated the forum (though most of us knew it was he, but did not have proof) and was non-combatant and communed well with the populace for a while.
Until he revealed himself and we were like 'OH SHOCK'...
...but honestly enough time had passed where he would've been unbanned anyway.
It was something like that.
Every year a little bit more of the details is further lost.
So now, we just have it as a little special in-joke in the Forums.
It's like our silly version of another 'terrorist attack' done in real life, hence the "7|15 nevar forget" (notice the vertical line between the 7 and the 15, and the oddly-spelled text afterwards).
We have matured since then. Now there's just some light trolling here and there, but nothing is warranting such levels of internet terrorism, here.

Oh, I didn't know Eric was one of the conspirators.
Oh well, I suppose the dungeon forum is quite dead now... (or is it? I hardly check it out anymore)

I didn't forget, I was just busy with life, like a lot lately.
However, one can't simply forget an event such as 7|15. ;D

I wouldn't say dead, though it does seem slow some-the-times...lotsa-the-times. :-/ I guess we just get busy, or forums like this aren't as popular anymore, or people (sadly) don't realize just how awesome is Castlevania?

Well, for a long time there there was a dropoff in activity for the series, that probably made a lot of people drift off. I hear facebook fangroups for things are generally more active than traditional message boards but I hate using facebook at all (it creeps me out to be honest) so I don't really know.

Me too! I kinda don't mind FB, but in general there's just something about forums like this that I love. As for this place specifically, it's nice to finally know (sortof) other people who love Castlevania as much as or more than I do! In my circle of friends, nobody cares much for Castlevania, or they don't like it at all. :-/

FaceCrap: the advertising platform disguised as a website all your own!
In a recent experiment to engage certain people directly and mitigate its infinite distractability, I "unfollowed" every person (Friends) and topic (Likes) on my profile and found a quiet echo chamber of just myself, not unlike its earliest days. It was really cool not getting sold shit every second. Some days later I re-"followed" a handful and discovered we advertise to each other through our own Likes, which helps keep its system of timesuckery alive. I'd much rather squander my free time disrupting a Simon VS Richter debate here then getting perked by the latest salebait or SJW spam there. ;)

I thought it was called Assbook, at least I remember someone calling it that at one time. I use it, but it's mainly for the mindless games I play on it. Mind you not much played, just 3-4 games maximum, and never spending money as they can be money pits.

Never used FB and don't plan to. Mobile games can keep me busy.
