Well, I finally got around to playing through Legacy of Darkness (as Cornell) for the first time. It was fun! The stages were cool! Dracula was scary! My jaw hit the floor when I saw all the attacks he had.
Anyway, now I'm going to try Reinhardt's story and want to get the best ending. I've been looking at GameFAQs and there are some mixed messages about what's needed to fight the real Dracula. Some say you have to reach the Keep in four days, and some say you simply need to use less than Sun/Moon cards. Does anyone know what the real way is?
I *hope* it's just cutting back on card usage, 'cause it seems like you'd really need to book to get to the end in four days.

I think the cards, though don't quote me on that.
Btw. your signature needs a
Ricardo, not Lecarde
Danesti, not DaNasty
Fernandez, not Belnades
too. :P

I prefer Belnades and Lecarde myself.
........ but....... anyway......... I don't play that game... I just started reading then got caught up in Serio's post.

doesn't change the fact that they're wrong though.
lecarde makes me thing of french bakery

Basically just use the Sun/Moon cards only when absolutely necessary, and don't dawdle too much and you should be OK.
If I recall, the save file has some candles on the left... I think they mean something, but I forget.

The endings are funner when there's implied death and mayhem, anyways :P

It's about how fast you complete the game, I believe, but using the Sun/Moon cards makes the game's time jump forward, thus lowering your chances of beating the game in time. In other words, try not to use Sun/Moon cards unless you play quite quickly.

You have to really TRY to get the bad endings. They give you so much time to complete the game before the bad endings take place that you almost have to abuse the Cards and dawdle a lot. At least that's how it is with me. :P

That's good to hear. Is the time limit really four days, though? I've been going through at what seemed like a good clip, but...
It was still day when I left Foggy Lake.
Night first fell in the Forest of Silence.
The second day broke on the Castle Wall, but had to use a Moon Card to get through the door to the second tower.
I expect I'll see Rosa on the third dawn.
That's more than half the time, and it's only stage 4.

I see what you mean, but there are a few times you have to wait for a door to unlock. Would it matter if you use a card instead of waiting out the clock? The same amount of time passes in-game anyway.

Yeah, and if was only endings I'd probably just see if they were on YouTube or something. I want to fight Dracula.

I think they show how many kids Henry's rescued.

True. I guess they don't grate on my ears the way 'ol rocks does.
I think Drolta's name is a mistake, too, though I don't remember what it's supposed to be off-hand.

2 things don't fight renon and don't fight vincent, dont use more than 4 sun/moon card, if you will, you fight vincent, and you don't want this, and don't buy things to renon more than 30000 pieces of gold or you will fight him.
