Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia takes place in a time after the great Richter Belmont has vanished from the lands. Was posted in 'nother topic, but still, IGN did a better job at getting info than Gamespot did.
A whole page of new details. LOL also the page that almost gave Abster a heart attack ;)(in bad way)

Hmmm...If I remember correctly, IGA once said he had a game idea in mind that would explain why the Belmonts couldn't use Vampire Killer until 1999...
THIS has to be that game. The timeframe and plotline fits perfectly...
I like the "glyph" system...Two weapons at once reminds me of how SOTN worked(it had a similar system where Alucard could wield two weapons at once.) It also puts a bit of strategy into the hack and slash formula. I think that this could be as good as Aria of Sorrow was, if not surpassing it.

Oh, it will almost definetely surpass it. Seems like we've got a load of new features here.

Considering the fact that the main character seems miles more badass than protagonists from PoR, I'd say we're off to a good start.
