Title: rondo of blood controls for virtual console?

I recently purchased rondo of blood on the virtual console for the wii but I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to do the backflip in it. I've tried every button and am playing with the classic controller. does anyone know what configuration or button to press to perform ritcher's back flip?
