It's looks really fun actually. Kinda  a mix of CV, Metal Slug, and even Doom, with the shotgun blast.

Might be something I pick up a bit cheaper.

It doesn't seem like that much fun yet (to me at least).
Things could change but the different visual elements, some of which are rather nice in my opinion, don't really come together. The walking enemies are somewhat bland in design.
It does seem to refer to castlevania in places although Ghouls  'n Ghosts spring to mind as well.
