Hello there, long time no see.
Well, I have this game for a long time, and just wanted to share it with you...
It's the TRUE (commercial) version of a pretty old metroidvania game called Return of Egypt.
The main differences of the freeware version is that this one have a new character to choose, with new bosses, this version have a music to each section of the castle (the freeware version only have one), a different final battle and one of the best endings that I saw in a game ever. (the original ending is still included as the "bad" one.)
It' one of my favorite games of all time, as well one of my favorite metroidvanias.
HEY X! I know that you wanted this one for a long time!

Argh, mega is complicated, but seems that the link is corrected now..

I've had this on my PC for over a decade now. It's a good game. though a lack of a map system has left me somewhat high and dry as to where to go next. I've fought and defeated all the bosses and I just need to get into the final area. But without a map I don't know where that even is.

Has the game been upgraded since I last downloaded it? Cause that would explain why the version I currently have doesn't include a map system.

Just append the password to the link, after an exclamation point:

(the forum can get quite confused trying to display the link though)
