Depends on how you look at it, for me an active imagination is a good thing, but not everyone always agreed about it when I was a kid.

Active imaginations are a good thing as that's where peoples' creativity originates. People with such imaginations went on to become, musicians, play-writes, authors, comic artists, graphic designers, architects, you name it. Without our imaginations this world would be a very boring one.
