Title: Dracula. the villain to have received the most amount of beatdowns in history???
Post by: Saner on June 08, 2008, 10:30:41 AM
everyone kicked his ass.  people with whips, magic, his
own kid, comedy reliefs, emos, and more!

maybe in 1999 Dracula would just warp Julius to his keep
and just says "Kick my ass already!!!! be done with it!!!"
but noooooo, Drac is in constant denial, he would never
acknowledge the times he was beaten.

it kinda reminds me from the airplane movie where everyone
formed a line to beat up that lady with slaps and boxing
gloves and bats.   but Drac does make for the ultimate
punching bag, huh lol.

Leon is watching the whole time and laughing his ass off,
most likely.  it never gets old to him.
"WAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"  Leon is probably laughing so
crazy, that he prob sounds like that guy from
Amadeus.  or maybe mark hamil's joker "a million laughs!"

When Drac gets revived, he usually kills a shit load of people first. So it isn't all bad for him. People will live in fear knowing that he will always be back in some form.

the difference is everyone else mentioned gets beaten by the same person/people. dracula gets beaten by just about anyone that has the balls ..or whatever saying works for the few women, to enter his castle.

that's right.   only Megaman and Zero can beat Sigma.

only Sonic and a few of his friends can beat Robotnik.

but EVERYONE can beat Dracula.  well...except the shopkeepers.  ;D

Well, I think the shop keepers at least thought about it.

Rinaldo's all like: "Damn that fucking haunted castle on that hill, it's driving away me lucky-cat business!"

Hammer's all admiring his macho collection of warpieces and he's all like "Raghhr! Let's do this!" And then he sees Yoko and he blushes and he's all like "Aww... shucks! I think I'll stay right here. Nerrrrrr"

But you gotta give credit to the VK dudes in the walls, they totally wanted to tear Drac a new one, but... eh, what're you gonna do while stuck in cement. By the time they were saved by Simon, they forgot how to walk, and so just sat there and sold stuff to him.

Don't diss the shop keepers. They tried.

Well screw that merchant. Had the absolute worst merchant theme anyway. And he looks like he's drunk and tipsy the way he moves.

I recommend his immediate removal from the MSSICS-SG!

What? He's actually my favorite merchant. The fact that he's always moving around the castle and he looks so drunk and that cool music(not as cool as Hammer Company, but...), actually, not cool, but it sounds like drunken music, just like the merchant himself, so it fits.

The moving around thing was neat for a couple times; then you realize it doesn't make much sense.

There was one room I could not figure out how to get him to appear in.

Yeah. No clue how the Hell he got back there. It's too bad he never helped Soma. I mean that dude could have gone with him, with all the guns and crap, and Yoko and even J, and they could have been one awsome monster-slayiong team. Too bad Aluca- um, I mean "Genya Arikado" was stuck protecting Mina.

But he then moved his shop, permanently.

unless it was something like "hammer was just going around the castle casually, while picking up weapons and scaring the monsters away with his gun, then he stumbled on an enemy his bullets didn't have any effect on.

it started chasing him, he ran away screaming like a little girl and hid in that small room, while the armor was outside, waiting for him to go out. then soma came around.

Eh, Hammer's a big softie at heart(he reminds me alot of Jet on Cowboy Bebop). I could totally see him not being ready for a sight/experience such as a Great Armor coming after him.

Well, it'd probably be more useful for him to get some level ups! That way, he wouldn't have to die then wait 100 years to be ressurected. Then, there would be less time between games for Konami to make more! One would be released like every week! It really makes you think though...What happens between games while the characters are waiting for the next game to come out? And what about characters that are no longer in the series like Sonia?

Why not just give Draccy a few nukes?

And about the characters after their games:
I guess they just go back to boring and ordinary people. Yep, they pack up the VC in a big wooden crate anmd ship it off to Area 51, like the ending of the first Indiana Jones. And there it rests till the next game. That's why Julius couldn't find it in AoS, because Area 51 is actually in a Solar Eclipse.

I wonder what he thought when he saw himself in a game. Did his head explode?

And your point is. . . . . ? What?

Cheating guys are cheating guys from any perspective, and it's universally entertaining to see em get beat down.

And Dracula shouldn't feel bad in this respect. The dude has remained faithful to his beloved Elisabetha for over a thousand years. That's got to count for something.

Umm... didn't he bang Lisa? Or did he magically impregnate her? As far as I'm concerned, Elisabetha and Lisa are not the same woman. Their names confuse things, but the LOI manual states that Mathias came back and Elisabetha had "died suddenly". Whereas in SotN she's burned at the stake.

I dunno though, maybe that's just what Mathias was told to cover up her execution, but why would she be executed? Some of these pieces just don't fit right.

If Elisabetha IS a different woman, than Drac's fight against humanity was not in tribute to Lisa, and that puts a small damper on the "power of love" thing driving his madness.

Also I wouldn't be surpirsed if he diddled Carmilla too. Supposedly "his neice". Yeah they always say that.

Lol, a "Reincarnated Soul". Lol, funny. Anyway, about Camilla, they both are vampires, lusty, blood-thirsty, sex-loving things, and c'mon, Camilla's hot!

Okay I checked the SOTN manual. It says she was executed in a mistaken witch hunt. I forgot about this until now but it also states Lisa's the only woman Drac's ever loved.

So that would have to make her Elisabetha. Maybe this sudden death of Elisabeth was just that Mathias couldn't understand how she'd be implicated so; since she was supposed to be very kind.

But still, other than the testament of Drac's love, you really have to read between the lines here to connect the two.

Fuck, I still have trouble seeing Mathias as Drac. I just like the previous idea that Drac is an ancient evil; not some insane EMO human, better.

..Is it not truely fact that Mathias is Dracula? I guess the only way to answer these questions is with a game or two taking place between LoI and CV3.

Nah, I think Lisa is the reincarnation of Elisabetha. The first time, she was with Matthias, and she died of sickness. A few hundred years later, Drac meets her reincarnation, Lisa. Alucard comes out into the world. Lisa dies due to the witch hunt thing.

I think. >.<

He's not really a werewolf, he's a ManBeast, a type of human that can inherit/harness the powers of animals.
Think of 'em as BeastMasters from other game series.

Werecreatures are the creatures in the game that are against him.

Ortega, his friend, was granted more power from Dracula, which is apparently the power to harness more than one animal's power... so in essence he does become a Chimera.  Too bad the power is too much for him.

Also, Cornell's alias is "Blue Crescent Moon".  Crisis is, as always, messing with you guyz.  The Force has a great effect on the weak-minded (I kid, I kid, you guys're great).

Well, if it's a vampire vs. werewolf discussion, I'm on the werewolf side!

Anyway, I actually just beat hard mode Legacy of Darkness with Cornell. Ortega's chimera form is really tough to take out in hard mode! Also, I noticed something: They spelled werewolf incorrectly. I may be mistaken, but I believe it's spelled with an "E" but they spell it with an "A" (warewolf)

If someone could clarrify this for me, please do! Thanks.

Yes! I looked it up! I was right! It IS spelled "werewolf" thus, yes, that is a terrible typo. :o

WAI-- Wha?

"Werewolf" is the correct spelling; not "Warewolf."

(I believe you just made a typo trying to point out a typo  :P)

I just remembered that Orochi from Okami is a good candidate too. He at first is supposed to be the final boss, but in the end you _kill_ him 3 times in one playthrough. O_o

Back on topic, don't forget about Death.

Isn't Death a boss in every game, while Dracula is only mentioned in LoI and is Soma in the Sorrow games? Thus, Death gets whopped more often.

Death is in all but three(Haunted Castle, The Adventure, and Belmont's Revenge).

Yeah, but he never wins. Dracula's definitely the victor in the Sorrow games, and arguably came out on top in LoI, but Death can never, EVER catch a break.

In some games Drac tried to stay alive by having the stairs up to his tower removed, like in SotN, but even THAT wont stop the heroes from killing him D: So obviously he needs to take this to the next step. For instance, he could get himself a tank or something!

''Dracula, I've come to-- WHAT THE FU--!!? *gets blown away by a massive tank, neatly parked right next to the coffin*

and after the hero is gone he can go berzerk with his vampire tank and shoot fleamen at people..

Now that's funny!!!  Here's another idea:  Dracula packs up and relocates to another country.  For example, the United States of America.  It exists by SotN and there probably wouldn't be a vampire hunter there.

Funny, but if Drac got a tank, the Belmonts would probably One-up him. With a Gundam. I can see it now...

Drac: BWAHAHA! Those Belmonts can't stop me now that I've got my new Vampanzer! Heheh, Vamp-Panzer, that's pretty funny-
*Simon shows up in a gundam equipped with a MASSIVE Vampire Killer*
Simon: Hello there, Dracula!
Drac: OH MY GOD- *Gets flattened in one lash*

drac should just keep his front door locked, before the heroes manage to get inside, find that flight/superjump relic and level up so massively he won't have any chance.

then send death to the doorway to kill the poor level 1 hero who has no idea how to get in.

Soma defeated Julius, not Dracula.

Also, one could argue that the fight ended as a draw, rather than defeat.

Technically, Dracula did defeat Julius.  After all, Soma is Dracula's reincarnation.  So, Soma = Dracula, thus Dracula defeated Julius.

But Dracula is a weak bitch.
I mean, "LORD OF DARKNESS", god, my grandma made more world wide disasters than Dracula.
His real title must be: "The annoying vampire who makes Walachia's life more fun each 100 years."

Just because he loses every time, it doesn't mean he's "a weak little bitch". You do realize who he loses to, and why he loses at certain times, right?

one time he loses to a stupid kid with brain damage and his sidekick girlfriend in schoolgirl outfit.

well it could be explained that since they kill him literally seconds after he wakes up, maybe he was still sleepy or something, and that if he was given enough time to regain his powers like in every other game, he'd turn them into mincemeat within seconds. :o

Serio, did you like get whupped by Jonathan and Charlotte on a playground somewhere at some point? Just asking here. Cuz, umm, you know... There's not liking a game for your own reasons, and there's not liking a bad game for all the obvious reasons. And then there's scathing, merciless, borderline-bitter disliking of something that leads one to believe there may be a much more deeply rooted, perhaps psychological problem at play here.

And then there's you with the pork children.

But... But they really didn't. I mean, there was still that neat plot twist with the vampire twins, and the dark underpinnings of Brauner's madness, and the secret behind the Vampire Killer that Eric Lecarde revealed, and-- and... And, um...

>_< Dammit, I tried. F*** PoRk and f*** the people who wrote it, packaged it n' slapped on the manga-tized art.

You forgot dr wily and king koopa.

yeah, except king koopa always runs the hell off after Mario and Luigi trounce him. He used to jump down the freaking sewage pipe in the animated series back in the day.
At least Dracula actually dies and doesn't run off. The guy's got stamina. Aaand then he gets right back up and fights again after some years. He has had the most beatdowns because the guy never gives up.
