SotN's artwork was good when I first saw it. It was fresh and different. But after a time with so many CV games coming out using that same style it got quite stale. And the fact that most of the characters looked almost the same (the Androgynous feminine look) is just not doing it for me. It never really has cause I expect ever character to have a uniqueness to them rather then looking like feminine clones of the previous 'others'.

Well yes, but it's actually been a long time since we saw the effeminate guys in a CV (Not counting Eric Lecarde in Judgment cause he's more a kid than effeminate to me). The last few Ayami Kojima characters (Hector, Trevor and the DXC Richter) were surprisingly masculine looking IMO. Isaac is an obvious exception but that's more because of his behaviour - not so much his facial features.

I honestly don't think there are THAT many Castlevanias with "androgynous" male characters. They all just happened to be released in a period of 2 years (Not counting SotN).

The only ones that come off as being masculine is Juste's friend Maxim, Dracula from SotN and Richter from Sotn.
