In 1998 my cousin and I determined seven games we couldn't live without.  In no particular order:

Streets of Rage
Thunder Force III
Super CastleVania IV
CastleVania: Symphony of the Night
Mega Man 3
Super Mario Bros. 3
CastleVania III: Dracula's Curse

Mmmn...12 years considered, I'd have to do some thinking on this one.  Either way, it wouldn't be five.

EDIT!!!:  I just realized we never considered any Game Boy games!  We had been playing a console at the moment, anyway...

A top five is too difficult, and the whole "honorable mentions" category would just end up making this a top twenty list, so I'll avoid that and just pick some of my top five favorites. I know the first three belong where they are... Beyond that, I can pick out of a hat of favorites and be satisfied, so...
