I recall EGM actualy speculating on a Castlevania movie cast. One of the funniest ones they had was having David Boreanaz as Richter Belmont. Wish I could remember the rest.

Also I'm suprised no one mentioned Tim Curry! The guy is such a talented actor, and gutsy too. Remember his role in the movie "Legend" He'd do great under makeup. I think he can play any of the antagonistic monsters in the movie.

Edit: I ironicly ran into this image whle searching something else... perhaps he was born to be a Vampire under Dracula. XD

with all due respect, it's just not the looks that matter.

Of course not, but I don't think Shanoa has any personality whatsoever, hence Mia Kirshner  ;D

Anyway, I really like Ben Whishaw, he'd make an excellent Grant DaNasty (the original Grant from CV3, not the Judgment mummification).

Does he have to look like a stereotypical español just because he is from Spain?  :-\

Spanish aren't near as the stereotype show them, on the contrary, the most of them aren't that tall, thin, blonde/brunette and white colored. (The stereotypical spanish is more an approach to the stereotypical Gipsy, yeah, they are there in Spain, but they are noy a mayority)
However, this guy could make a very good Eric lecarde, he's a very good actor, he'll act in One Piece: The movie (english version :) )

Everything comes full circle

I would prefer Eric Lecarde to look a little less manly actually. In the japanese version of Bloodlines he's kinda effeminate, and that's how I picture him. Though he's a bit more masculine in PoR...hm... Judgment doesn't count cause he's a kid there.

I can't decide how I want him to look.  :-\ Something inbetween, I guess.

Didn't Brandon Routh play Superman? I actually think he could be a good Belmont. He has those sharp and pentrating eyes that scream, "I'm a Belmont. That's my job." (Sorry, I just love that line. Imagine filing for taxes with that job.)

Dracula is one of those roles that would be hell to cast for (no pun intended). I think maybe finding a bunch of nobodies for this kind of film would work best.
Defeating evil: Apparently easy.
Defeating the Lord of Darkness with a whip and some water: Damn.
"I'm a Belmont. That's my job."

Considering I am portuguese (very close to spain in relations) you'd see that even though there is a stereotpye, he none the less fits the appearance, and he's had the experience. Plus he does play the role of ap retty boy many times over the years.

Also... Crissopher Loyd = Ferryman or Librarian.

I didn't realize this but he had a good deal of pinkish hue around his eyes in that first pick. Either he's the undead, or simply reliving his burned out druggie "Taxi" character.

In any case, the guy is brilliant, and he can be scary. Only he could turn a cartoon character into disturbing live action villian.
