I've finally gotten to play Castlevania...

Now that I've gotten a new PSP with The Dracula X Chronicles, I have to say I can't believe what I've been missing all these years! Castlevania is a really fun and addictive game! At first I was worried I wouldn't get into it because it's a 2D sidescroller and I'm so used to playing 3D adventure games, but after playing it I became instantly hooked. The game got even better once I unlocked Maria who's a really fun character to play as. I love her sub-weapons and cutscenes.

I admit the game is a little hard for me, because I haven't played side scrollers since I was a kid. But I'm slowly learning and getting used to it. I just want to say I think I've picked a great game to start with in the series!  8)

Glad you like it!  But you must know that if you don't say the surname "DraculaX Chronicles" then we'll usually assume you mean "Castlevania" (the original) for the NES.  Now that I read your post I know you mean DXC though.  Try to find the hidden games (Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night) for some more awesomeness. :)

Oops, sorry my bad. :P

I've already unlocked Symphony of the Night and played a little bit of it, but I decided to wait untill I beat the remake of Rondo of Blood before I start on it. Then I'm going to try to unlock the original Rondo of Blood! :)

I know this is a double post, but... I finally beat Dracula!  ;D I got the bad ending because I didn't rescue all four damsels, which was on purpose because I wanted to see Annette as a hot bat-winged vampire. Next time I play I'll be sure to rescue all four ladies, and I'll pick Richter this time since I used Maria as my main character last time.

I've started playing Symphony of the Night which I unlocked, and I think it's cool how it's more like an RPG.

Oh and I was shocked to find harpies in the remake of Rondo of Blood. For some reason I was under the impression that there were no female enemies in the game other then Medusa, Carmilla, and Annette as a lesser vampire. They were really pretty, but I loled at their feathery boobs.  :D

There were harpies in CV2, CV3, CV4, and Bloodlines.  They're somewhat of a staple now, whether they lurk in the clocktowers or drop hunchbacks/fleamen/rabbits.  LOL feathery boobs. xD

The thing I find funny is that in greek mythology harpies were potrayed as very ugly, but in anime and video games they have become sexed-up.  :P

I managed rescue Tera and the cutscene with her was pretty humorous. She seems to be delusional and thinks my character is some sort of holy angel sent by God to rescue her. I guess it's the trauma of being kidnapped by such an evil vampire wanting to eat her.

I also played some Symphony of the Night and I can see why it's a really popular game, because of the RPG elements and the exploring. I'm kind of stuck on the second boss which looks like a clone of Alucard.

Actually it's more of her claiming that Richter IS the physical manifistation of god himself. But yeah that scene did leave me scratching my head wondering if Tera needs some sort of medical attention. Just for giggles, let's give Tera to Dr. Seward at the Carfax sanitarium for some much-needed psycho analysis.  ;D

Well I was playing as Maria at the time (yeah I got bored with Richter even though I said I'd play as him), and she seemed to think Maria was some sort of Holy Divine Mother. I guess it's easy to understand, with the curly blonde angel-like hair and the power to summon doves Maria does kind of come across as angelic. :P

Thanks. :) Somebody made the signature for me, I thought it'd be cool to show my three favorite femme fatales of video games. Also if you notice one's a redhead, one's a blonde, and one is brunette. :P

Kinda reminds me of the "other" trio; Vampirella, Lady Death and... I can't remember the last one...  :-\

It's kind of weird when you think about it, I mean you can't see it in the signature because half the bodies are cut off, but two of the girls are wearing thongs and one is wearing a rather classy looking dress. Though if any of the ladies weren't wearing underwear I have a pretty good idea of who it would be.

...Did I say that out loud?  :-[
