http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/smusou6/ (it's called 6 in Japan, but it's 7 everywhere else.)
http://dynastywarriors7.eu/uk/index.htmIt got delayed a week but still coming this March in North America.
Besides Hard Corps Uprising on PSN, I'm really looking forward to Dynasty Warriors 7! (it's the kind of series that's very fun with great selection, great co-op, and large scale battles in China, which is still a rare scenario for an action game. And also a great stress reliever too. Easy to pick up and play, memorable characters, and has a lot things going for it. But like all series that share a similiar formula, it's best to play certain ones instead of buying every single one. (Kind of like sports games or first person shooters that are more of the same.) Some might not like the English dubs but I find them decent and amusing.
I feel those that play DW7 while having not played DW6, will get a lot more out of this (and those who never played a DW before, should certainly try DW7 first!) But even if people have played DW6, DW7 is the biggest leap the series ever made, adding a 4th Kingdom and stretching the story up to the reunification of China for the first time in the series, with a massive list of features, adjustments and additions, and well as every single character being visually fully updated in much better form than most of the makeovers the ones in DW6 received.)
They improved countless things. Now being able to combine character with different weapon styles, as well as being able to bring along two weapons instead of one, AND being able to switch them mid-combo as well as while on the defensive. (Strikeforce had two weapons style, but the gameplay design of that spinoff is a totally separate category.)
With over 60 playable characters (with their own unique special attacks, quotes, and role in the story),
improvements in presentation (the real-time cutscenes look better than ever), a noticable update with the graphics engine, some free DLC planned, a redesigned Story mode (3 Kingdoms have their own campaign, and you can unlock the 4th Kingdom campaign, never experienced before.) and a Conquest/Chronicle mode that features so many things to do, local and online co-op, and different ways to progress! And I heard you can select in-game music from DW7's amazing soundtrack while playing Conquest mode.

And other features like wallpaper customization, a new encyclopedia, and other great additions (like the new Gallery)! It's packed with more content than a $60 game is worth!

I started playing DW during DW3, I really liked DW4 and DW5 was probably my favorite, I didn't bother with DW6 because it was a step down in some ways. But DW7 is several steps up in the right direction, and in my opinion is one of the best quality and enjoyable games people will be able to play soon.

http://img852.imageshack.us/f/chronicleconquest01.png/new map details
I tried to differentiate the Legend Hexes of officers who are available from beginning, officers who can be unlocked from Story Mode and those who must be unlocked in Conquest/Chronicle Mode. All the weapon hexes use the same color regardless of normal/Rare but I rebuilt the weapon logos as vectors so those weapon hexes dedicated to a particular weapon are indicated by its logo.
For the status hexes, I indicated where the 'alliance/faction' battles are located since these will be of particular interest. I used the chinese characters for the Kingdoms, so there'll be a consistent stylistic difference between text = legend/officer, logo = weapon, and chinese character = alliance/faction battles. Hopefully most people can already recognize which character is for which kingdom
The work in progress bits are the text in black, which is basically an abbreviated translation of the titles of the battle in each hex. Still working on how to stylistically integrate it with the rest. As I haven't gone through the whole map, I am only assuming that the 'name' will indicate which map it uses, while the last line contains a word summarizing which 'type' of battle it is. So far excluding rare weapon/legend/city/city battle/alliance battle hexes, there appear to be 9 battle types divided more or less equally between weapon and status hexes:-
Mopup - defeat remnant of Yellow Turbans
Suppress - quickly conquer enemy strongpoints before their main officer arrives
Fierce - a fierce battle (lots of enemies/allies, this is the closest among these nine types to a 'regular battle')
Defense - defend your strongpoints/allies from enemy attack
Break - breakthrough the enemy army and lead your ally to an escape point
Chase - chase down and defeat enemy officer before he reaches escape point
Save - rescue and officer whose under attack
Single - by yourself, fight up thru enemy lines and defeat their commander
Versus - in a tight arena, you fight against a number of enemy officers alone. there's one dedicated to each Kingdom, one thats all big burly officers (Huang Gai, Deng Ai etc), one that from the title appears to be dedicated to 'pretty boys' (I'm assuming people like Zhou Yu and Jiang Wei) and another dedicated to the girls.
Thanks to AdawgDaFAB's map of locations, Shadowclaimers weapons post for the weapon screenshots etc.
very helpful info!
