Does anyone remember this SNES game?

I played this game years ago but I just can't remembers its name. The protagonist is a samurai and I believe his girlfriend was captured by monsters or something. The tone of the game was pretty serious if I remembered correctly. I think the first level is some kind off cave and at one point you think you found the kindnapped girlfriend but it is actually a monster.

That's all I remember.  :-X

Hmmm, no that one doesn't seem to be fit. Looks pretty interesting though. I'm pretty sure the game I'm looking for is set in medieval times or something.
