I played the demo and watch my friend play it, its great but whenever I see it I think of the name "Mass Effect Age 2". Now you are probably wondering why, well it seems that LIKE the Mass Effect series they toned down a lot of aspects for the sequel to make for a more "fluid" game play experience. I don't have a problem with that but I was kinda peeved that dungeons blatently repeat themselves and that you couldn't make your own persona. Sure playing as Hawke makes the story more interesting since he can actually SPEAK, but I still prefer the character customization of the first game. Like most people/critics though, I agree that the combat definitely does look VERY fluid and fun but again that just adds to my point that they went for a more streamlined experience in the game play and not so much the RPG elements as a lot of that was either cut out or extremely simplified. Its cool, but I don't know if i'll pick it up right away.
